“Eight years ago, I moved to England with my sisters and umma JiYong and appa stayed here to run the company, I didn’t know why we had to move, until about a year ago, umma sat us all down one night with MinJun our babysitter/carer whatever, she’d do this usually and we were used to it but something felt different, it wasn’t going to be the same as all the other times, I could feel something was wrong. We all sat by her, then she explained she was suffering cancer, and she wasn’t just a nurse at the hospital she was undergoing treatment but she didn’t want to waste any more of dads money paying for the treatment, she decided to stop, but she explained that would make her a lot worse, I had noticed she was getting thinner and her hair was falling out, but she guessed I wouldn’t exactly understand what was happening. She told me and my sisters she might die soon and that was should be prepared.”

I pause my eyes are beginning to water up a lot, Suzy hugs me, but I carry on “she died in the April earlier this year. After a few months of sorting everything out, paperwork, funeral details, then selling the house, and splitting the money between us four and JiYong, then getting all our plane tickets and then flying to Seoul, now we are here.”

“So for seven years you lived like nothing was happening, whilst your mom was covering up 7 years of cancer.” Suzy asks.

“Yeah, when we found out she had already stopped treatment and knew it was her time to go so I guess. The doctor told us it was one of the rarest cases of cancer he had ever seen spreading from one type, ‘Lung Cancer’ to a completely different type of cancer ‘Bone Cancer’ that is why it lasted so long, because her lung cancer was cured, but her bone cancer couldn’t be.” I was crying and beneath my tears I saw that Suzy was crying too.

I pick up the photo album which had pictures of my mom in over the years and handed her one,

“This is our umma when she is the most beautiful,” I say “you can keep that one.”

I stop crying and wipe away my tears and so does she. “Gomawo unnie” she says and we laugh, we are happy we found each other. “Wait,” she continues “what should we do about appa and my adoptive family?”

“I don’t know,” I say. “I’ll ask JiYong in the morning, he’ll know what to do.”

With that said and out goodnights we both fell to sleep quite happily until the morning, when we were awoken by the sound of five boys and three girls in my room.

“Ya!” I shout as I wake up and rub my eyes. “What do you think you are doing?”

“It is half past five, time to wake up noonas,” Seungri says.

“Unnie, unnie, is it true?” EunJi says.

“Is what true?” I say.

“Suzy unnie, is our real sister too?” MinJi finishes off.

“Who told you?” but I already knew the answer to that. I glance over to them, both giggling into each other whilst they open my pink lace curtains.

“Unnie Oppa,” I pout “Why did you tell everyone?”

“Nan molla I accidently spilled it out earlier.” JiYong answers.

“Who else have you told?”

“Well, just us, and your appa.” IU announces

“Why did you tell him, now we have to solve this thing with Suzy’s adoptive parents that is even if she is our sister, we have no solid proof?” I say and then I frown at JiYong.

“Wait!” Suzy says, “we need solid proof right?” I nod, JiYong nods, “well I know the place I was born, so maybe we can go there and ask if they have copies of our birth certificates, see if we really are twins.”

“That sounds like a great idea, and it is half past five we should definitely have time to go and get it before school.” I say

So that is exactly what we do. We get dressed and quickly make our way downstairs eat breakfast and then I drive to the place she was born and the place I was possibly born.

As I pull up to the place Suzy speaks up, “Unnie, I’m nervous, I haven’t had to do this before.”

“I know, me too.” I reply.

“You know unnie, if we aren’t sisters we can still be friends right?”

“Ai, of course I’m not going to abandon you am I?” I ask.

She nods and we head inside to be greeted by an old man. “Annyeong Haseyo,” I say and he greets us formally back.

“What can I do to help you?” He asks.

“Well I was wondering if you kept the certificates of births here, and we were wondering if we were born here.” Suzy asks politely

“Ah yeah, let me go and find them, what are the names?”

“Hwang JiEun and Hwang SuJi” I say.

“Ah JinMans daughters, how could I forget, I had a hard time delivering you pair into the world, how are your sisters?” the Doctor asks.

“So we are sisters? And MinJi and EunJi are fine thank you.”

“Of course you pair are sisters, why on earth would you not think you were?”

“Ah, urm it is a long story, I’d explain but we must get to school, I’ll come by later in the week and explain everything if you want?” I say.

“Ah yeah, and here are your birth certificate copies, be careful with them though.” Doctor says.

“We better leave and go to school, I’ll see you later.” I say and bow to the old man to show my gratitude.

We get into the car and open the envelope which contained our separate birth certificates.
“5th January 1995, 12:45PM, Hwang JinMan - Lee YeonHee.” Suzy says. “So we are sisters, definitely.”

“Who’s older?” I ask.

“I don’t know check your time,” she says.

“You were 12:45PM right?” I ask and she nods “I am 12:41PM, hehe you are my dongseng.”

“This is so cool, I can’t wait to tell people at school.” She says. We drive off listening to BigBangs songs.

When we get there we are greeted by YoungBae and JiYong, who come rushing to us. “So what happened?” JiYong asks.

“Suzy, is our dongseng, same parents but she is four minutes younger than me but she is my twin.”

“Aigoo, I have four sisters now. Aishh,” he pouts and mumbles something along the lines of “How much money I will have to spend on birthdays now.”

“That is awesome,” YoungBae says and puts his arm around me and pushes us to walk into school together leaving IU and Suzy to walk in together with JiYong.

“Oppa!” I say “We can’t keep doing this, aren’t you making it a little too obvious?” I ask him.

He nods, “That is the whole plan, you are doing the vocals to our new song on Friday live on JM Countdown, we are up against SNSD and SuperJunior as well as Se7en and Lee Hyori, so you better have good skills, not just vocals but you have to dance and flirt too.” He pauses and looks down at me, “especially with me.” He winks and walks off.

“Ya,” I say “Ya!” I shout louder and he turns around and winks and walks off I run after him and pull his shirt back. “Why, do I have to do all this, isn’t it a bit too much?” I say.

“Aniyeo, you have to be in our M/V now, so your skills have to be good.” He replies.

“Teach me!” I say.

“Teach you?” He replies

“Tonight lets create our M/V scenario and dance and vocals and run through it until we are sick.”

“No. You’ve been in hospital twice already, I cannot let you go back in again.”

“Oppaaa” I pout and put on my aegyo “Pleassssseeeeee.” I say again and reach up and kiss his cheek.

He blushes, but nevertheless agrees to help me. “Gomawo oppa.” I smile and run off into my home room for class I am greeted by Daesung and BaekHyun who are waiting for me.

“Noona, where’d you go to?” Daesung asks.

“Ah I was with YoungBae why?” I say sitting down at the desk.

“Ohh, okay what did you guys get up to?” BaekHyun asks sitting next to me.

“WHAT? Nothing why?”

“Suzy has told us everything,” I look around to find her, she smiles and waves. “You two are sisters aren’t you, no wonder you look exactly the same.” Daesung says.

“Ah yeah.” I reply.

“Noona, don’t go out with YoungBae Hyung please.” BaekHyun says.

“Why, why shouldn’t I? I never said I was?” Words spill out my mouth until they don’t make any sense.

“Because I want you to myself, I like you noona.” BaekHyun says and pouts.

“Ai, stop playing me up you fool.” I say.

“Aniyeo, I really like you noona.” He hugs me from behind.

“Jinjja, get off me BaekHyun oppa.” I say “I like you too.”

“Jinjja?” he asks “Will you go on one date with me?”

“Nan molla, I’ll go as friends with you, okay?”

“Okay that is fine with me. What about YoungBae,” he asks and I sigh.

“We aren’t dating, and plus we are going on the date as friends.” I say “YoungBae oppa will be fine with it honestly.”

He wasn’t. When I asked him what I should do, he said “Don’t go, you might fall for him, then what would I do?”

“Ah oppa, I won’t.” I stopped and thought in my head *I’ll only ever love you Dong YoungBae*

“Araseyo, but if you do I have to steal you away.” He replies.

I nod and mumble “You don’t have to steal what is already yours.” Then I blush and walk away.

“Wh-What did you just say?” He says running up to me.

“Nothing, nothing, come on let’s go home.”

I met IU who just walks to the car shell shocked, pale, like she had seen a ghost.

“Unnie, what happened?” Suzy asked.

“I’ll tell you both later, in private.” She says and I look over to JiYong who is smiling crazily.

Something is up.

We get back home and I don’t have much time before Tao knocks on my door and walks in “ready for work JiEun?” I nod and say goodbye to IU and Suzy who were staying in my room tonight I make my way down stairs and bow and say goodbye to everybody I can.

Me and Tao get into JiYongs car and we drive off towards the entertainment store which was now called JM Ent Store. As we walk in there are others there that we had chosen to hire. Tao notices immediately.

“JiEun, does this mean we get promoted? Because we have been here longer?” He asks.

“I don’t know,” but I am pretty sure it meant exactly that Mr Lee ahjussi and Ms Seo come up to me and Tao.

“Congratulations you have been promoted to Assistant managers, and well don’t on the applicant choices, we chose a few too, Kris and IU won’t start until next week due to conflicting schedules.” Mr Lee says.

“Oh gamsahamnida ahjussi, unnie.” I bow and they turn and walk away me and Tao automatically High 5 like we’ve always done then we turn to our new employees.

“There is Eli.” I say to Tao and then call him over. “Eli!” He comes running over.

“Yeah Assistant manager in charge,” he says looking at my badge.

“You have to listen to me now oppa, even if you are older then me.” I say he pouts and pulls a face “I know, it is sad isn’t it?”

He nods, “How cool is this though, Hwang JinMan is so cool dongseng, there is so many people working here, we were just deciding our shifts. There are a few who I had never seen before though.”

He points to a girl, ah “Lee SeolHyun,” I say and go over to her.

“Unnie,” she says. “I didn’t know you worked here too!”

“Yeah, I am assistant manager in charger now with my friend Tao, we were in charge of choosing new staff, I picked you obviously.”

“Ah gomawo unnie,”

There were a lot more staff here now and we were going to be sorting out timetables and schedules.

Jung YongHwa, Lee SeolHyun, Kim KyoungJae (or Eli as I knew him) Amber Liu, Jung Krystal, Do KyungSoo, Kim Jongin, Luhan, Minseok, Go HyeMi and Kim HaEun. That would make the total up to 15 if you included me, Tao, IU and Kris. There was only one person I didn’t know and that was Park HaEun, she was alone. I made a decision to go up to her and make a conversation.

We began talking about our schools and what we did, she was 20 years old and majoring in English Language and Japanese. I didn’t know anyone else who was as good as languages as she was, she could speak Chinese, Japanese, Korean and English fluently. It turns out she is Mr Lee ahjussi’s oldest grandchild and she has a younger brother Kim MyungSoo. I told her I taught Kim MyungSoo English, and I couldn’t understand why she didn’t teach him herself, she was as good as I was, perhaps even better.

“Ah, I live with my granddad due to my schooling, I very rarely get to see me brother. I visit this place every so often to help my granddad with the shop, I personally run a small convenience store not too far from here as well as going to Yonsei University.

Just then my phone goes off ‘SHINee’s debut song to be – Replay’ Urgh ‘My Ghostboy. There was nothing I could do, I had to answer as I did, Mr Lee told me and Tao to go and eat some food in the food court and talk about new schedules.

“Yoboseyo.” I say pretending to not know who it is.

“Ya, JiEun, I want you to eat with me and SHINee in our dorms tonight, after hours Dorm 18 at 10 o clock. And re enter my details on your phone.”

“Araseyo,” I say.

“You still have to call me oppa remember.”

“Araseyo oppa,” I said sarcastically but there was a sort of thrill in being somebody’s slave for 100 days, I didn’t mind, but what creeped me out is that he was so forward in telling me he liked me, I couldn’t tell if he was joking or not.

After me and Tao ate we went back in and decided our schedules, mine stays the same as usual and so does Tao’s, we would be joined by YongHwa, Eli and SeolHyun on these days, which didn’t bother me. IU would do every other day along with Kris. Amber, HaEun, Krystal, Luhan and Minseok would do the other days KyungSoo, JongIn and HyeMi would be cover staff and work weekends. I couldn’t work weekends at the entertainment store as I would be working at the café with SeolHyun.

I get back home later that night to see Suzy and IU still in my room watching my favourite drama, You’re Beautiful. Just then it hit me, YongHwa and Hongki are now under my dad’s company.

“Unnie,” I say to IU “What was wrong earlier when you got into my car?” I ask.

“Oh well, in our free period I went off with your brother and Seungri and Daesung. As they wanted to show me something. At the end Daesung and Seungri left and I was left with JiYong and he,” she paused, “he hugged me and told me he liked me. I didn’t know what to say so I kind of left quickly without saying anything.”

“Ah is that why he is quiet for once.” I say and she nods.

“I can’t tell if he was joking, or not.”

“Me too,” I say without realising.

Just then the clock ticks 10 and I hurry back out down to the dormitories, toward dorm number 18, I go to knock but before I do the door swings open, Taemin looks at me and simple says “He is in his room.” Then he leaves without saying anything else.

I say my greetings to Onew Key and Jonghyun and head towards his bedroom which he shared with Taemin, so we would be alone.

“It only took you six minutes thirty nine seconds to get here. Next time we shall improve,” he pats the floor next to him and I sit.

“What did you want oppa?” I ask “did you want me to clean, because there is nothing in here to clean, it is spotless” I say and he interrupts.

“I wasn’t going to ask you to clean.”

“Then what?” I ask.

“Don’t date YoungBae,” He hands me the article about the dating rumour between me and YoungBae. “Deny these rumours, even if you love him, and I know deep down you have feelings for me so date me openly.”

“I can’t I like YoungBae, I know I do, we should just go ahead and confirm them, I cannot date someone else, it would upset YoungBae oppa.” I say.

“Don’t worry YoungBae has already agreed to it, but only until the contract ends, if you have changed your mind by then, you’re mine, if not you can go back to being his.” MinHo says.

Although I am a little confused to what is going on, why would YoungBae agree to this situation.

“Okay,” I hesitate “I’ll date you, but my feelings for YoungBae will never change.”

“We will see about that.”

OOoooooOOOOOoOooOooooOOOhhhhHHhhhhhhhHHHHhhHHHh, I left it on a cliffhanger, why would youngbae do that, we'll find out soon, well you will I already know *giggles inside* what do you think of IUXGD? I thought it would be cute!
