When I awoke, YoungBae was still next to me, don’t get me wrong I loved him being around me, but today I needed to see that ‘ghostboy.’ I needed to get something off my chest. I sat up, my head hurt a little I took some medication and it eased off after a while and I was able to get up. YoungBae was fast asleep he had dark circles so I really didn’t want to wake him. My hospital room was nice, well of course it was, I hated how everything had to be perfect for me, I was pretty sure I could handle sharing a room with someone for one night. I made some tea and a spare cup for YoungBae and pulled a box of fruit in front of me I ate and drank for one minute before he woke up.

“Oppa, I made you some tea.” I say quietly so he can get a chance to wake up.

“Gomawo,” he mouths and takes a sip whilst sitting in the chair where he fell asleep.

“Hey oppa!” I move over to one side “Why don’t you come in here for a while?”

“Why? What are you going to do to me?” he replies.

“Ya! What kind of person do you take me for I just mean you look tired and you need to rest, my condition is not contagious you know.” I tell him.

He does as he is told and gets in with me, he feeds me some grapes and some other fruit that was given to me by MinJun and my family. I saw the cards on the table by my bed, Minji, Eunji, BaekHyun, Kyungsoo, MinSeok, Suho, Sehun, Tao, Kris, Chen, Chanyeol, Kai, Lay, Luhan, SeungHyun, JiYong, Daesung, Seungri, Kevin, Kiseop, Eli, Dongho, Jun, SooHyun, Aj, Hoon, IU, even MyungSoo and his parents and a lot of other people. I must have been asleep a long time.

“Oppa, how long was I asleep for.”

“Three days, you woke up for 2 hours on the first day but it must have really hurt you so the doctor put you under this medicine thing, I’m not exactly sure what, but he said it would make you sleep until Sunday.” He replies.

“What about school, the competition?” I reply.

“Ah, we lost, the first group won. You don’t need to worry about it anyway. You get to come home today, later, and you are allowed to go to school now, just do not over work for a while? Promise me?”

“I promise oppa,” I was about to say something else but SeungHyun walks in.

“Ahh, ahh, ahh” he says shyly. “I’ll come back later. I’m interrupting aren’t I”

“Aneiyo, Seunghyun ahjussi,” I wink and pat the bed where he could sit.

“How are you feeling?” He asks straight away and then sits down.

“I’m better I think.”

“I’ve bought you both some food, I bet you are hungry, here.” SeungHyun says and hands YoungBae the bag. “YoungBae, eat something, you haven’t ate or left this room, so when ajumma leaves, you have to.”

“Well obviously, I am not going to stay here when there is no one here to look after am I?”

“You haven’t left?” I ask him he blushes and continues to open the porridge.

“Ani, he hasn’t left this room, I have bought him food, but he barely ate anything he hasn’t slept much either.” SeungHyun states pinching a grape off the table.

“YoungBae!” I say he doesn’t look at me. “Gomawo for not leaving me.”

The rest of BigBang enter the room.

“Have you heard?” JiYong asks.

“Heard what?”

“Appa, has signed everyone at the competition!” JiYong says.

“Jinjja?” I ask and JiYong nods helping himself to some of my porridge and grapes. “So that means, Ukiss, EXO, IU and the rest will be living on our complex in our dormitories?”

JiYong nods again, then continues to throw a grape in the air and catches it in his mouth. I then do a slow sarcastic clap to which he bows. This is so exciting.

“JiEun-ah, you need to sign the contract too, if you want to debut?” Daesung says and hands me the contract, Seungri begins to play with my hair. I glance over the contract, this is scary what should I do? I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life yet.

“Hey guys, what do you think I should do?” I ask BigBang.

“Sign it of course,” SeungHyun says.

“yeah, sign, you’re one of the best JiEun-ssi” Seungri says who is still playing with my hair.

Daesung just nods in agreement. “Of course you should sign it, what else would you do? You’re talented of course you get that from me, his smug smile stretches on his face.

“Oppa, what should I do?” I look at YoungBae who is smiling.

“JiEun, you should do what you want to do, you should definitely sign it because you will still have the company to look after when you become of age, and even if that doesn’t work you’re an amazing dancer and you could become a choreographer later on, so what is there to lose?” I nod and I kiss his cheek. Daesung hands me a pen and I sign it where it tells me too.

“Araseyo, I’m done, now let’s get out of here, I’ll take a quick shower and get dressed and we’ll go, you can go if you want, but if not wait for me.” I say and quickly go into my ensuite bathroom.

After a while I get dressed with the clothes that BigBang bought me and I don’t bother drying my hair, although I should, I just rub it with a towel and leave it down. I pack my things and then we head off. Three cars to choose from. SeungHyun who had pulled Daesung with him, YoungBae’s car, and JiYongs Car. Just me and Seungri to get in.

“Who do you want to go with?” I asked.

“Just go with YoungBae, I know you want too,” he replies “I’ll go with your bro and explain I forced you to go with him.” He winks and walks off. I get into YoungBaes car and we drive off following the others and this is a nice feeling. Having someone you really love, in many ways drive you to places, look after you. We pass a small village and I look at the shops dotted around. Oh! A couple store, how pretty I thought. All this time I have been here I have only saw the one couple store in COEX mall and it was always packed with pretty couples looking for something for their birthdays or 100 days.

Suddenly YoungBae parked the car and got out. “Come on,” he says and opens my door. My hair was dry now and it was all in a frizzy curly mess I flatten it out with my hands, I didn’t expect to be getting out in public like this.

He grabbed my hand and led me toward the couple store. “Choose something for us,” he says.

“But Youngbae oppa, we aren’t a couple,” I say.

“I know, but we are best friends aren’t we? We can have something that symbolizes our friendship, plus I haven’t really bought you anything since you got back from England,” he says having a look at the bracelets and stuff. Just then the other girls who were with their boyfriends came running up to YoungBae.

“taeyang, taeyang, taeyang, oppa, sign this for me”

“Aish, I forgot I was famous. Our comeback stage is this Friday if you want to come?” I nod we ignore the fan girls and we choose couple bracelets and couple rings and a necklace.

“Pretty,” I say happily. YoungBae pays for the stuff and we get into his car. He puts his necklace on and his bracelet and then tells me to move my hair out the way I push it all to one side and turn around he puts the necklace on for me and the commands me to hold out my wrist and then he puts the bracelet on for me.

“If you lose this, I’ll make you pay.” He says then winks cheekily.

“Okay oppa,” I go to kiss his cheek but then stop, the fan girls are still taking pictures and I didn’t want to cause a scandal before I even debut.

We drive off home and I am greeted by MinJun, MinJi, EunJi and an unfamiliar face.

“Annyeong unnie.” Minji and EunJi say.

“Oh annyeong” I say smiling. I hug them both and turn to MinJun. “Long time no see,” I say in English.

“Hi JiJi, are you feeling better?” he asks.

I nod “Who is this?” I ask looking at the woman.

“This is Go GaEul, she is my girlfriend.”

“Annyeong Haeseyo Go GaEul, my name is Hwang JiEun.” I bow towards her.

“Annyeong JiEun-ah, it is nice to meet you.”

It was nice to meet her, I am glad he found someone he liked, he deserved someone nice.

Appa came out to me I bowed and handed him my signed contract.

“Gomawo JiEun, you will start your training this week. Go ahead and eat with your brother and friends, we will discuss tomorrow.”

I headed towards the room where all my friends and sisters were waiting. I sat next to SeungHyun and MinJi and we ate a delicious meal with excitement due to the fact of everyone becoming trainees under JM Ent. We finished our meal and I went down to the dormitories to see who had moved in, this was exciting. I go with EunJi and SeungHyun and I am greeted by Siwon and Heechul.

“Congratulations JiEun-ah, we should definitely practice together and perform together.” Siwon says.

“Let her breathe Siwon, Congrats my friend.” Heechul says.

“Ah, gamsahamnida, oppas, where is everyone, they are in the meeting room meeting the other trainees and artists.

“gaja, let’s meet everyone ahjussi.” I pull SeungHyun along and EunJi with me. Siwon and Heechul lead us to the room, where we enter and a lot of eyes were on me.

“EunJi!” someone called out and ran up to her. No guessing who.

“Ya! BaekHyun-ah, what are you doing, I said stay away from my sister!” He stuck his tongue out at me *merong* Aish and they whizzed off together.

“JiEun-ah,” IU and Tao came skipping up to me “we are trainees now and we can live on the same complex as you do. This is going to be fun, isn’t it?” I nod.

“Yeah, I can’t wait to start performing. Who else is here?” I ask looking around.

“2NE1 are over there talking to Lee Hyori. EXO, UKISS, SHINee, CNBlue, Got7, BAP and FTIsland are hanging out with 2PM and SuperJunior, Akdong Musician and Trouble Maker Lee HaYi are discussing things with Teddy the manager and Apink, Miss A, F(x), Girl’s Day, Wondergirls are all talking to Sistar, we are all going to be one big family. BigBang are permanently moving in the house and we all get our dorms sorted tonight.” Tao says. “I am so excited. We will be extremely close all the time now wont we?”

“Yeah, this will be nice, I’ll stay for the dorm choice, who will be my manager? Have they decided?” I ask.

“Ani,” SeungHyun interrupts. “For now, ShinYoung, Teddy, TaeYeon and MinJun are going to be managers, they are holding interviews for other possible managers. Two for Girlgroups, two for boygroups, two for solo artists and duos. For now, JiEun, you’d be with Teddy, he’s really cool, and we pretend he is the sixth member of BigBang sometimes.”

“Wait did you say MinJun?” I ask, “MinJun is a manager?”

“Yeah,” SeungHyun says taking a seat around a table.

“Wow, awesome.” I say and sit next to him, I look around the room, wow so many people will be roaming around the grounds now I probably won’t have any peace and quiet, but I didn’t have that anyway since I came to Korea. BigBang were everywhere I went. That wasn’t about to change either. I glance at ShinYoung, who looked at home with a lot of people, of course she did, and her first management group was a 15 member SuperJunior. She was talking to Heechul, Siwon and... And Ghost boy.

I didn’t realise I was starring until he looked back at me, then I couldn’t take my eyes off him, aish! As soon as he started to walk toward me I felt I had to break the intense eye contact from him and I looked at my nails and played with my fingers.

“JiEun, can I talk to you outside?” I nod and head outside following him. He stands in the middle of the corridor facing the other way. “Are you okay?” He asks, I nod and realise he can’t see me because he is facing the opposite direction.

“Yeah, gomawoyo.” I say. “Why do you always appear in front of me?” I ask

“I don’t know,” he says as he faces me and shrugs. He then begins to walk toward me, I walk backwards one step and hit a wall, MinHo puts his hand on the wall above my shoulder and by my head. “Do I like you?” He says.

“Are you crazy?” I say, “We have never spoke before, we have never even been in the same room really, why would you like me?”

“Oh, yeah, alright.” He says and backs up taking a chair which was outside the office opposite.

“I first stopped Min from hitting you, I also stood in the door way and blocked your path, I was on the balcony when Min and Fei and Jia began attacking you, I watched you fall and then I carried you away to hospital, which was not easy.” I didn’t realise he had done all this for me. “I text your brother, IU, BaekHyun, Tao, Eli, YoungBae and your dad to say you had been rushed into hospital, although I didn’t stick around. We were in the library together when you were looking for you journal and then when you collapsed at the competition I carried you again to hospital, with YoungBae helping me.”

He paused for a while. “I guess, I must like you if I am protecting you from afar.” I blush, he was something. Protecting me, making me feel weird. “Also, if you remember, the contract of the competition says you must become my servant from now until Christmas, I already gave you time off for being in hospital so you must work extra hard.”

I had completely forgot about that. “Please don’t make me do anything stupid.”

He smiles, “I won’t.” He pauses and scan my body, then he reaches down and grabs my phone out of my pocket. He takes a selca and does some stuff on his phone then he takes my picture on his phone and does some things.

“What are you doing?” I ask.

“I’m getting your phone number so I can call you when I need something.” He says then hands me my phone. I look at what he has done and then I notice he has put his name under ‘ghostboy’.

“Ya, how did you know I call you ghost boy?”

“Well, remember that day on the balcony and then the day in the library?” he says.

“Yeah, when I was looking for my diary and my book,” I reply a little confused.

“Well, when you lost them, I picked them up I was going to return it in the library but I didn’t get the chance to, then when I got home, I accidently picked your journal up instead of mine, and I read the last page thinking it was mine and you had wrote stuff about me.”

“Well, you shouldn’t have read it,” I turned a deep shade of pink remembering the stuff I wrote about him ‘his eyes are pretty, and he is stubborn but it’s so cute, his skin is pale and he is tall and keeps appearing in front of me. My Ghostboy. “When can I get it back?”

“I’ll phone you, you are going to have to come into my dorm though,” he winks “and it will be after hours.” He turns and walks away as EunJi and SeungHyun come up to me.

“I’ve finally managed to get Byun BaekHyun to leave your sister alone and we shall take her back up, what was all that with MinHo?” He asks lifting EunJi onto his shoulders.

“Oh nothing, you know the slave contract thing, he gave me his number and he got mine so he could call me and tell me to do things,” I say.

“Don’t worry about him JiEun-ah he promised JiYong that he wouldn’t abuse you too much,“ he laughs.

“Come on, let’s hurry, it is getting cold right now and they are sorting out their dormitories.” We walk back up to the top of the garden and enter the house I grab EunJi off his shoulders SeungHyun oppa bends down and helps with this, why is he so tall, seriously? I put my sister to bed and then check on MinJi who was fast asleep I tuck her in and turn the lights off.

I am just about to go to my room when my phone rings.

‘My Ghostboy’

I answer it. “Yoboseyo?”

“Dorm 18 be there in less then ten minutes.”

He puts the phone down on me. Aigoo. Ten minutes? I pull my hair back into a pony tail and throw on my coat and shoes and hurry down to the dorms. This was going to be annoying.

I got to the dormitories with a few minutes to spare, it was after hours and everyone was asleep or so I thought Sehun and Luhan were in the café together ChanYeol and JongIn were together too. BaekHyun and Tao and Kris were walking about aimlessly. I dodged them a little and waited for them to pass. Dorm 5 -50 on the first floor. I tiptoe past a few people whilst hiding my face, 16, 17, 18! I knock, but the door is already open I push to see three people sat on the floor kicking each other.

“Oh, Annyeong haeseyo,” I say and they all look at me and smile.

“Annyeong haeseyo, my name is Jonghyun,” he pauses “this is Key and that is Onew.” He pointed to the cute guy who was eating some fried chicken.

“Annyeong haeseyo my name is JiEun, Hwang JiEun where is gho- I mean MinHo?”

“He isn’t here at the moment,” a serious looking boy came out of the room “I’m Taemin,” he says.

“Ah, okay, I’ll come back in a minute then.” I reply.

“Ani, you must stay, sit here” Key points to the chair and I sit. This dorm room was exactly like SuperJuniors.

“Can you explain something to me? Please,” I ask them.

Onew speaks up, “Of course what would you like to know?”

“What are the dorms like and who lives where? I know I am meant to take over the company when I am older, so I need to get the knowledge before I do.”

“The first four dorms are for staff, for example, teddy and MinJun share dorm one, ShinYoung, Taeyeon and now GaEul share room two, RiAh and HaNi share room three and room four is reserved as they are making changed to the staff.”

“GaEul is now a manager?” I ask and Onew nods, “who are RiAh and HaNi?”

“They are choreographers and songwriters. President Hwang is hiring more staff now that hehas more trainees. As for the other dorms, 5-10 occupy SuperJunior, 11-13 occupy SoNyeoShiDae, 14 and 15 for 2PM, Lee Hyori lives in 16, 17 for Sistar. The SHINee at number 18. The rest of the trainees are in the dorms up to 100+. A few actors have moved in too. Jang Geun Suk, Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Gong Yoo, Lee Seung Gi, Kim Woo Bin, Hyun Bin, Kim Soo Hyun, Jeon Ji Hyun, Song Ji Hyo and Yoon EunHye.” He stops and checks if I understand “it is like ‘Celebrity Hotel’ in here. It’s really awesome”

Just then MinHo walks into the room, I stand up and bow to him.

“You came?” He asks and heads to his room. I don’t understand what I should do as he turns the handle, “follow me.” He says and I do as he commands.

He sits on his bed and pulls open a draw and takes my books out that I had lost. He hands them over to me.

“Here,”

“Gomawo Choi MinHo. Is there anything I have to do for you?”

He pushes over a piece of paper, ‘contract’ “Sign it so we know when it started and finishes. You can’t back out now.” I nod and sign it. “The first small task I want you to do, is tidy this dorm up every week for me, even if we have cleaners you must be here every Saturday after work and tidy.”

“Okay, that doesn’t sound too hard.”

“Also,” he pauses and stands up next to me. He then begins to walk by me and I’m backed up a wall with nowhere to go. “You have to call me oppa, and you have to kiss my cheek every time you leave.”

“Why do I have to do that?” I ask.

“Why not. I told you before, I like you Hwang JiEun.” I blush I absolutely cannot like him. He kisses my forhead and I leave the room.

“Annyeonghi gaesayo.” I say as I leave the room in a hurry. ‘neh Annyeong’ I here them say as I rush out the door. I walk straight up to the house and straight into my room and lie on my bed“Why me?” I say “Why me?”
