Your POV:

Hyo Joon said she will come by seven o’clock. I looked at my watch and find it to be 7:30. I already cooked dinner, finished my homework and prepared myself for tomorrow, and the start of our girl gathering didn’t come yet. I didn’t know what to do with myself, and just kept tossing and turning on my bed while listening to music. I was excited; I finally decided to talk to her about my crush, about that someone that I’m always eying from far. She will be surprised since we never were around him ever. I thought that maybe that way she would open her heart to me and tell me about that someone she was with.

Toc toc toc.

I jumped from my place and hurried to the door, after opening it, I found her standing on the porch, a bag hanging on her shoulder.

“Hey!”
“Hey! Come on in!”

We both sat on my bed and slipped under the covers, while watching a movie on my computer, this was the hundred time we watch it, but it was our ritual. Pride and prejudice. Something about that movie made us love it so much; actually, Jane Austen in general had a thing on us.

“So?” I tried opening the conversation, “anything happening?”
“Not really! You know my same boring life! How about you? I assumed you had something to talk about.” She answered with half a smile.
“Well yes… The thing is that I’m too shy to talk!” I looked away.
“Yah! We are friends for long enough now to not feel shy about anything! Just tell me!”
“Mmmm… well, the thing is … What I’m going to tell you is far from new… I have a crush on someone… for quite a while now…” I said, feeling my cheeks burn.
“Who is that?” she asked, with no excitement at all.
“It’s … mmm… It’s Taemin” I answered then disappeared under the cover.
“Well that’s not news at all my dear… You don’t think that I didn’t suspect that!” she said with a smirk.

I popped up from under the sheets and looked at her with round eyes.
“What? Really? Am I that obvious?”
“Not really, but I know you enough to guess!”
“I see… well then, now you know that what you suspected is true!” I smiled at her and she smiled back.

We kept silent again, our eyes fixed on the screen, but the question made my tongue itch badly, but I did my best to hold it, if she doesn’t talk about it even if I admitted my crush to her then I better not be nosy. Five minutes passed before she talked to me again.

“I… actually, have something to tell you too..” she was still looking at the screen while talking, and my anticipation grew.
“What is it?”
“I have a crush on someone too… from so long…”
“Who is that?” if my eyes could have been bigger at that right moment, they would have been.
“It’s Minho.”

Her expression was still the same, her eyes still on the movie, and I was just so shocked I couldn’t find anything to say… Minho?

“But… but he loves someone else, he told me that the other day.”

I was still looking at her startled when I saw tears forming in her eyes. She was hurt, extremely. I hugged her tightly and tried to find the right words to console her.

“You already know that he is stupid when it comes to these stuffs, just give him time and he will totally change his mind! I’m pretty sure you are way much better than her! Just let time do his job!”
“You don’t know who she is! No matter what I am, she will still better placed than I am…” she pushed my arms, and freed herself from my hug then wiped her tears, and went back to watching the movie. I tried arguing with her but it was with no result.
“Can we just forget about this topic? How about you? What are you going to do about Taemin?”
“I don’t know, he and his friend take me home each evening. The car isn’t his, but he was the one who initiated it… I think something may happen with time…” I said with dreamy eyes, when the picture of Onew popped up in my mind.

Onew… Why was I thinking about him again while I’m talking about Taemin.
Stop it ____, stop it, you love Taemin, and no one else!

“____-ah, don’t anticipate much… he may be doing that to help his friend rather than to get you for himself… I’m just telling you… I don’t want you to get hurt…”

I looked at her in big surprise, I actually never thought about that… But that wasn’t true, Taemin was all nice and didn’t stop teasing and joking…

“I… I don’t know… I’ll be careful don’t worry…” I answered, smiling weakly at her.

My thoughts didn’t stop going up and down, from me to Hyo Joon… But wait… she said the one she likes is Minho, but I am totally sure Minho was on the first floor when I saw her with that boy… I guess things are more complicated than I thought.

When the movie ended we just decided to sleep; so I switched off the computer put it on the side table then switched off the lights and we laid there.

“Hyo Joon, are you sleeping?”
“Not yet, why?”
“Who is the girl?”
“The one he loves?”
“Yes”
“I swore to keep my mouth shut … by the way, don’t let him know about any of this, even the part where I told that he loves someone, other way he’ll eat me alive!”
“Okay…”

I replayed today’s events once more in my head, and then just left to the dreamland.

Minho’s POV:

I had my last class, and went to look for my Pinky Cherry, today we are supposed to finish at the same time, but arriving at her classroom, no one is there to be seen, and even Hyo Joon wasn’t around. So I walked around the school looking for her. My feelings toward her are making me foolish enough to run everywhere just to see her for a while. No matter where I search I can’t find her, not even around the dance practice room. As I closed the door to the practice room, I heard the voice of Taemin.

“Minho? How come you are so early today?”
“Did you see ____-ah?”
“Not specifically… But I think she already left with Jinki hyung.”
“How’d you know?”
“He texted me saying that he is driving her home before coming to practice.”

I could see him smile devilishly at me as I frowned.

“And why is he taking her home? That’s my job… Since when does he care about her?”
“Well… longer than you think hyung! And why don’t you ask him that instead of questioning me?”

I glared at him and went to the bathroom to change. I didn’t want to look at him anymore. Knowing that he was the one she has a crush on was quite enough, but hearing him trying to make me jealous using hyung was going overboard, really.
When I entered the washroom, I couldn’t control myself and hit the wall hardly.

“SH*T !!”

As I cursed, I heard the door of some cabinet open, and saw Jinki hyung walk out from there, he looked at me with big eyes. He surely heard me and was so surprised.

“Are you alright Minho-ah?”

I couldn’t control myself and glared at him, I promise if fire could come out of my eyes he would be already dead by now. He understood that I was in a total bad mood, so he just left.

“I’m leaving, hurry so we can start practice” he said before closing the door behind him.

I didn’t have anything against Jinki, he was one of the most friendly people, and I liked him a lot, he was a hyung that I respected, but I wasn’t in need of someone else inside this already hard situation, getting rid of Taemin was enough of a problem, but having both of them is beyond pissing me off!

As I stepped inside the room everyone was already there, and I could hear Jinki talk to them about the practice plan for the semester, we had to be ready before the auditions.
I took place behind the boys while Onew and Taemin took turns in speech. Even if Taemin was the youngest one between us, he was the best dancer so we were all attentive to his instructions. He was the one who came up with almost all the steps, so he was totally in charge right now. I tried hard to focus on the dance but today that was just impossible. As I watched him, every thought about ____ came to my mind, every thought of the possibility that I’ll be losing her made my heart squeeze.

What am I going to do to keep her mine forever?
