Look upon the stars

You ran to him. He was bleeding. The truck driver ran up to him too. “Oh my god.” the truck driver seemed to panic. You wanted to communicate with him but there were nothing that you could use. You started to cry, “no, Luhan… you need to stay with me. You are the only one that… that can… help me…” you shook him. The driver took how his phone. “Uhh.. 119? It’s an emergency…”. 5 minutes or later, the ambulance came. They took Luhan and the driver to a hospital. You sat along the sidewalk… you were in a shock… You thought to yourself, “if I didn’t exist… this wouldn’t have happened… If…. only if… i wasn’t in this world… or…. if Luhan wasn’t involved with me… then…. then….” tears ran down towards to your cheeks. You looked towards the ambulance took Luhan. You followed its tracks.
When you got to the hospital, Luhan’s friends were there. You went to Luhan’s room. You dropped to the ground, “thank god you’re alive…” “Ah! You are the girl from before!” Suho said. You look at Luhan’s friends. You thought for a while, then you asked, “Chanyeol… was it? I heard from Luhan…. you’re really good at guitar…” “haha… well I am pretty good.” Chanyeol laughed at the compliment. “Will you teach me? I… I want to sing for Luhan… I want to… That’s my wish.” You look at Chanyeol with helpless eyes. Chanyeol look at his friends. Tao nods at him. “Okay… I will.” “Thank you” You look at him with a smile. You look at Luhan. ‘You can be at peace now...’ you said to yourself.
When Luhan’s friends leaves, you sit by Luhan. You touch his head, then cheeks. He looked so peaceful. ‘I can’t kill Soeun… If she makes him happy… I just cant….’ You thought to yourself. Tears started to run down on your cheeks. “Don’t die… you can’t die… not just yet…. don’t be like me… don’t die without reaching your dreams…” you took a deep breath. “And don’t be an idiot like me…”

~Luhan P.O.V.~

I woke up, looked around, there were flowers everywhere, but there was one that stood out. It was a bouquet of flowers. Inside it, i found a letter. I layed down on the bed, looking at the mystery card. It doesn’t say who’s it from. I opened the letter, it said:

‘헤헤, so you finally woke up? Or, did you woke up since i wrote this…? But anyways, good news! I heard from the nurses that you are going to be discharged on your birthday! That’s your birthday present..? It’s about 11pm, and I’m looking at the stars. There aren't that many here… but i promise you, ill take you where you can see lots of stars when you’re discharged from the hospital. But, this isn’t the reason i’m writing this letter. I just wanted to tell you, thank you. For the times when you received my selfishness, and hanged out with me, when you made a promise with your friends. Or, for the times where you were talking to me. That… that made me happy. Just looking at you talk to me, and smiling towards me, it made me forget all about the accident. So, thank you. But, there were lots of times where I gave you hardships, and you had to deal with my shit. You were so annoyed with me, that you yelled at me. You were so annoyed by me, and I’m sorry for that. And, I’m sorry for the fact that… I came into your life… If it wasn’t for me… you wouldn’t get into this accident… Even when we were still kids, we fell on the ground.. you got hurt so much, yet you still cared for me… But this time… it’s serious, you almost died… So… from the point where you read this letter… I won’t be in your way… I’m sorry that you had to care for me, watch out for me… But… I want to meet with you soon… before we don’t see each other again… and i have something to say… I’ll say it when we meet...’
I looked at the letter… Didn’t knew what to say… I look at the date… It was still weeks away from my birthday…
