I couldn’t keep my mind off it. What is wrong with me? I couldn’t enjoy the magic show because the question was eating away at me, ‘how will I be able to face both N and Leo?’ It doesn’t seem like much of a problem, but it actually is, so much of a problem that I’ve bitten my nails raw and the insides of my cheek until I taste blood. Why god, oh why? Why did you put me in this situation? Sure it’s awesome-more than awesome that two incredibly hot famous guys kiss me on the same day, but now I cant share it with my friends or else the world might end, and now I can’t face them. I lean my face in my hands. I hear laughter and footsteps. “Hey Mel, what’s wrong?” I lift up my face, Sally is standing with Julie and Tanya. “Wanna chip? She offers me some hot chips. I didn’t even realize they had gone to buy them. I take a hot chip and throw it in my mouth, not remembering that I am not heat proof. It burns in my mouth and the steam emits from my nostrils. “Hot, hot, hot!” is all I manage to say. The girls laugh, “You goose, they’re called hot chips for a reason.” Says Tanya pointing to the cup that read ‘Hot Chips.”

The hot chips are finished, Mr. Dublin dismisses us and I fear what’s coming next. “Time to get my hug!” shouts Tanya. She jumps up and down like a little girl waiting to get a lollipop. I sigh, there’s no way I’m gonna get out of this. “Ok, lets go.” I say sluggishly. Tanya grabs my arm and drags me all the way to the ROVIX banner; Sally and Julie close at my heels.

I avoid eye contact with N and Leo. Just looking at their shoes makes me blush like crazy. “Hi again.” I say nervously to no one in particular. “Hongbin hyung, could you do me a favour?” After a short delay, he replies with a “yes…?” “I would really appreciate it if you have my friend a hug.” I pushed Tanya towards him. He smiled and opened his arms. Screaming, she launched herself into him. “Thank you so much Melinda! Thank you so much Hongbin! I will never forget this day!” she squeals when they let go of each other. “OK, thank you Hongbin hyung, we’ll be going now.” My friends have already gone ahead. I see them jumping and screaming. What a mess. I bowed to no one in particular and started towards my friends. As I leave I hear Hongbin talk. “I thought she was going to ask me to kiss her or something.” “Wouldn’t you?” asked N. “No, she’s not really my type.” “I kissed her.” I hear Leo say. “EHHH? WHAT?” I hear the VIXX members say at once. My cheeks become tomato red and my heart races. Oh my freaking god! I run. I’m so embarrassed right now. The VIXX members are probably laughing at me saying, ‘why did you kiss her?’ ‘out of pity’ ‘her forehead was sweaty right?’. Or something. Ugh. I need to get out of here.
I search my backpack. “Where is my damn wallet?” I whisper to myself. I clutch my wallet and look for my myki. “Oh come on! How hard is it to remember to bring a freaking myki Melinda?” I probably look like a crazy person, scolding herself. Sally looks at me with her beautiful blue eyes, “I have a myki.” She says, while unzipping her backpack. “No, you need it.” “No I don’t,” she says taking out her myki. “Tony is going to pick me up.” Tony is her mum’s secretary. Mrs. Cayler is a lawyer and apparently Tony is very good at what he does. Tony has been with Mrs. Cayler from the start so he and Sally are quite close. “Thanks Sal.” I say, taking the myki from her. “Did you want me to wait with you until he gets here or…?” “No, its OK. You can go.” She smiled warmly at me. I waved at Sally as Julie, Tanya and I walked to the train station.

Julie got off at the second stop. “I have a party to be at.” She laughed. “And you’re going in your school uniform?” questioned Tanya. “I got spare clothes in my bag.” We waved goodbye to her and the train continued. I fiddled with my thumbs and bit my lip. “Is something wrong?” asked Tanya. Damn she saw right through me. “No.” I say quickly. She folds her arms and raises an eyebrow at me. “What? Why are you making that face?” I shot. “There is definitely something wrong.” A cheeky smile appeared on her face. “What’s wrong?” I shook me head. “If you refuse to talk now, ill tickle torture you.” Her hands were already in a claw position. I absolutely hate tickle tortures. First of all, when its tickle torture, it hurts, second when I laugh too much I start to cry, thirdly, if I’m laughing and crying at the same time I have no strength to push her away. I let out a big sigh. “I’m on my period.” I say. She jabs my in the stomach with her slender finger. “Ow!” I say. “That’s a lie! I’m your best friend; I think I know when your time of the month is. Now hurry and tell me or I’ll turn into the tickle monster!” She jabbed me in the stomach again. “OK, OK. But you can’t tell anyone. Got it? No matter how excited or surprised or angry you are.” Tanya nodded and her eyes widened. I sighed again. I leaned in and whispered in her ear, “Leo kissed me on the forehead.” Without warning she struck me on the ear, I shot back clutching my ear which was throbbing in pain. “WHAT? OH MY GOD! THAT’S GRE-“ “You’re too loud!” I say. “I’m sorry,” she says. “But you got kissed my two guys on the same day! Two hot guys! Two hot guys who are idols! Two hot guys who-“ “OK I get it Tanya.” I cut her off. After the confession, the whole train ride Tanya kept raising her eyebrows at me and smiling. “Stop it Tanya.” I say. “I’m trying to forget it.” “Why would you want to forget an amazing experience?” she almost yelled. “Because now it’s awkward between all of us.” Tanya’s stop arrived. “We will continue this talk tomorrow you hear missy?” she said as she got up from her seat. “You can’t tell anyone!” I yell as she skips out the doors. My stop is one after Tanya. I sigh, “What a day.” I blow a stray hair from my eyes and allow myself to relax before I get off the train.
