The four of us ran to the banner, screaming and yelling as we went. “OMG VIXX!” Screamed Sally. She seemed to be hyperventilating and tears were flooding her eyes. As we got closer to the banner, we saw that the VIXX members were standing behind a long table. On the table there were stacks of paper, a bunch of pens and 6 microphones. The VIXX members saw us running at them, their eyes wide and their legs ready to evade. Sally jumped onto Hyuk-just like she did on the day of the concert-only this time they toppled because she ran. “What’s happening?” said N slowly. Hyuk coughed and straightened himself up. N’s eyes found me. “Melinda!” he said cheerfully. As Sally brushed herself down, she questioned us. “How do you know N, Mel?” “She’s our buddy.” Smiled Hyuk. He walked away from Sally, over to me and put his arm around me. Squeezing me close to his body. I could feel my face turning red and my palms began to sweat. I don’t know why exactly, it’s not like I was nervous, I’ve always dreamed about this moment, and it was happening right now! I quickly glanced over at Sally, her eyes were burning with rage but her blue eyes sent an icy chill down my spine. I moved to the side and let Hyuk’s hand drop. “We have to get going, “ I spluttered. But I don’t want to leave. “We have some work to do.” But I don’t want to do work. I bowed, took Tanya’s hand and ran. But I want to stay in his arms.

I slowed down when we got inside the aquarium. Phew, that was close. I thought for sure Sally was going to pop a vein. I blew a stray stand of hair from my eyes. I look at Tanya who was crouching on the floor. I kneel beside her, “I’m sorry I made you run Tanya…” she muttered something, she kept repeating the word. Her voice got louder and louder and soon she was yelling the name Hongbin. “Calm down Tanya!” She turned to me and grabbed my shoulders; “You’re in with them right?” “Well I wouldn’t-“ “Let me hug Hongbin again! Please!” She started to shake me, I lost my balance and landed on my rear. “Tanya! Stop being crazy! I don’t know know them, I just met them yesterday.” “How?” she demanded. “It’s a long story.” I sighed.

The first animal on our sheet was the Barrens Topminnow. This was so exciting! I love going to the aquarium, I learn so much! I looked over at Tanya, “Let’s go, we have a total of 25 animals we need to find.” She didn’t respond. She was looking at her shoes, probably thinking about Hongbin. I sighed loudly. “Tanya!” she looked up, shocked. “I’ll let you hug Hongbin again if we get all 25 animals done. Deal?” Her eyes lit up like candles. “YAY!” she screamed. “There’s no time! No point standing here! Let’s go look fro the Barrens Topitopi!” she grabbed my arm and skipped along. “It’s Barrens Topminnow!” I laughed.

The lunch break came quickly. Tanya’s eyes were glowing, “Good job Melinda! We’ve completed 12 animals! I WILL get that hug!” she put her hand into a fist and punched the sky and giggled. Sally and Julie came running towards us. “Hey Mel, why did you run off all of a sudden?” asked Sally. I sighed and shrugged my shoulders, “Eager to do work.” I lied. Well, it wasn’t a total lie, a white lie. I avoided looking into her eyes, before they pierced me, but now they seemed to emit warmth. “So, what did you do after I left?” I slowly asked. “I hugged Leo!” yelled Julie. She wore an ear to ear smile on her face. “They wouldn’t tell me how you know them.” Said Sally, she blew out a breath. “I wanted to know. You’ll tell me, yeah?” I sighed, “It’s a long story.” We set off to lunch. The four of us sat in the café and ate delicious lunch. On the table of four, Julie and I were sitting with out backs towards the door, Sally in front of me and Tanya in front of Julie. We talked as we ate, mainly about VIXX. “I hope we get to see them ag-“ Sally stopped halfway to gasp. The bell on the door rang. I turned around and saw 6 handsome men walk into the café. They spotted me and sat on a four table next to us. Another table had to be moved so that all 6 members could sit. They all greeted me except for Leo who was sitting closest to me. Julie popped her head up. “Hello Leo!” she chirped. He nodded her in response. He looked at me straight in the eye, I could feel my face turning hot. “Hello Melinda.” He said quietly. “Hello Leo.” I said nervously. I looked over at Sally, and her eyes were burning once again.
