I couldn’t understand why VIXX had so much time on their hands, yet, Exo was so busy that Sehun couldn’t even call me on the phone every night. I decided to ask Leo when he walked me home, he said that it might be because they’re signed under different companies and different companies work differently.

We arrived at Jeesun’s house. Hyuk had another story to tell. “My belongings are going missing.” He said with a sigh. “This has happened occasionally throughout the years because I am an idol…but, this is too much. My sport uniform has been taken!” Everyone in the room gasped in shock. “Do you think it’s the stalker’s doing?” Ravi asked. I can’t begin to imagine Sally stealing things. Stalking, stealing… what’s next? Kidnapping? I mentally scoff. Of course not! Sally isn’t that type of person! I’ve known her for years, she couldn’t do such things!

I was soon driven home by VIXX. I walked into my house to find Cindy waiting for me. “Hey, Mel.” She said quietly. “Do you have time to talk?” I nodded as I opened the door to my room. We both sat on my bed with a sigh. “So what’s up?” I asked her. She twiddled her thumbs before answering.
“Nathan…Isn’t who I thought he was.” She said.
“What do you mean? Is he a druggie?” I asked, horrified.
“I hope not… He is different to what everyone sees him as. I’ve never seen him outside school before, no one has. I saw his little brother walking with some punk-looking guy, his little brother said hi to me and it turns out that the punk-looking guy was Nathan…”
“I don’t understand what you’re saying Cindy.” I said.
“Nathan has piercings everywhere! And tattoos! And he rides motorcycles and-“
“Woah! Woah! How old is this guy?” I asked.
“He’s in year twelve.”
“Damn son… Why are you going for older people?” I joked.
“You can’t talk! How old is that Leo guy?!”
“Shhhhh. We’re not dating.” I said, irritated. “So what are you gonna do about Nathan?”
“ I don’t know. That’s why I came to you for help.”
“What’s the big problem anyways? Who cares if he has tattoos? He has his own life. Just go for it.” I said with a shrug.
“But mum will freak. She’ll never accept him…If we dated. Ever since you and your last boyfriend broke up she’s gotten a lot harder on people.”
“I told her that it wasn’t a big deal. Now she just goes around judging everyone.” I sighed. “She used to be so carefree and easy going…”
“So what do I do? Get back to the subject!” Cindy said urgently.
“Do you both like each other?” I asked.
“I like him…but I don’t know if he likes me. In school he may be a ‘nerd’ but who knows how he is as a ‘punk’. Maybe as a ‘punk’ he’s a super playboy. Damn, he was so hot.” Cindy drifted off into a daydream.
I clicked my fingers in her face. “Back to earth, Cee.”

As we talked, I could clearly see how much she liked him, but she was scared she would embarrass herself and make it awkward between them if he didn’t feel the same way. I guess that’s what happened between Hyuk and I, and now I’ve missed my chance with him.
