We stood in silence and awkwardly stared at each other. The woman named Jess had the guts to speak first. “You guys know each other?” I mimicked her, “You guys know each other?” pointing to both her and N. N followed, “You guys know each other?” “Well no, she just kind of barged in.” said Jess. “I had a problem on my hands,” I sighed. “I’m VIXX’s fan.” Jess raised an eyebrow. “So much of a fan that he knows your name?” she turned to N, “Is she a creepy stalker fan? She knew you guys were here didn’t she? If she is a stalker fan, I can chase her out.” Offended, I tried to say that I’m not a creepy stalker fan but N beat me to it. “She’s not a creepy stalker fan. She’s our friend.” He laughed. I stiffened at the word ‘friend’. I never thought famous people were this easy to become friends with… I mentally shrugged off the thought. “I’m Hakyeon’s older sister; Jeesun.” She smiled warmly and offered her hand, I gently shook it. “I should get going.” I said. Those creepy men should’ve finally gone. I hear a squeal and a little boy comes running and laughing into the hallway followed by Hyuk who is roaring at him. The boy hides behind Jeesun’s legs and Hyuk sees me. “Melinda!” At that very moment, all the VIXX members come into the hallway, “Melinda!” they repeat. I suddenly feel embarrassed. I feel a slight tug on my school dress, the little boy is holding onto it. I crouch down beside him, “Hey there.” I say smiling. “Hello.” He says back. “My son, Jinho.” Says Jeesun. Jinho is pale and too petite for his age. I hold him in my arms and stand up. He instantly rejects me and cries for his mum. She chuckles and takes him in her smooth arms. “He’s not used to strangers. Jinho has leukemia so I take care of him most of the time and we don’t go outside very much.” I lean over and touch his nose, “You must be the lucky boy N is trying to save.” I smile and the little boy smiles back.
