Chapter 14
“Noona it’s time to get up.”
I toss and turn in my bed sheets, peaking my eye from under the sheets.
“Nooo. 5 more minutes.”
“Noona please we’re going to be late for school.”
YoungJae pulls the sheets from me forcing me to get up.
I didn’t even want to go to school today. I didn’t want to see anyone. I just wanted to stay in my bed, by myself, with no one to bother me.
“I made you some breakfast.”
“You cook?” I joking said.
“Of course!”
I get dress and apply as much makeup as I could over my bruises and wounds. I walk downstairs to eat what YoungJae made and we quickly walk off to school. I still have a slight limp from my legs being kicked at yesterday. YoungJae notices me struggling and quickly aids me to walk.
I’m really grateful to have YoungJae around to help me out.
“Thanks.”
He smiles and helps me to my first class.
“Yah YoungJae where have you been?”
YoungJae quickly turns around as all of GOT7 stood there with a questionable look on their faces.
“Why don’t you go Noona?”
I nod my head and YoungJae guides me into the class room and walks back out to talk to GOT7.
[YoungJae’s POV]
“Yah YoungJae where have you been?” I hear BamBam asked.
I see GOT7 and try to get Noona away before they tried to question her.
“You didn’t show up last night. What happened?”
“Nothing. I-I just…um… didn’t feel like going.”
“What? You never miss out. What girl were you with last night?” They all start to laugh.
“Ah…you got me. Let’s just go.”
We walk off to class and no one asked anymore questions.
[Mark’s POV]
Last night we all got together to do a few things but YoungJae wasn’t there and he’s usually the one that enjoys it the most. We see him in the distance and I notice he was with YoSung. She looks weak and was closely leaning up against YoungJae. YoungJae quickly brings her to her class and comes to talk to us.
“You didn’t show up last night. What happened?”
“Nothing. I-I just…um… didn’t feel like going.”
“What? You never miss out. What girl were you with last night?”
“Ah…you got me. Let’s just go.”
A girl? Was he with YoSung? I know they didn’t do anything since YoSung is like a sister to him…so what happened?
[YoSung’s POV]
As I limped into the class room Dani came and helped me to my seat.
“Omo YoSung, are you okay? You know you’re going to have to tell me what happened.”
“I would tell you Dani, but I know you’re going to overreact…I’ll tell you someday, just not to day.”
Dani sat back in her seat and frowned knowing that what I said was true.
Class goes by and the bell rings. It’s now time for English and I didn’t want to go because I had it with GOT7. But the main reason was that I didn’t want to see Mark.
So Dani and I official decided that we are permanently going to switch seats so she’s surrounded by GOT7 and not me.
GOT7 entered the classroom and YoungJae quickly comes over to me to check and see if I was okay.
“Noona are you okay?”
“Yah, I’m fine go sit down.”
I look over to see Mark looking at us; trying to ignore him I go back to what I was doing.
Once a week during the middle of class our teacher allows us a 10 minute break to do what every we wanted. I didn’t want to stand so I stayed at my desk as everyone got up to leave.
“I’ll go get some snacks.”
Dani waved and left out the door. I rest my head on the desk and I hear someone walk up. Who could it be now?
“Jackson’s outside the class and wants to talk to you.”
I could tell it was BamBam’s voice, but I didn’t want to look up.
“If he wants to talk then he can come in here. I don’t feel like getting up.”
BamBam leaves without saying a word and someone else comes in.
“Can we talk?”
I sigh and sit up to see Jackson sitting in the desk next to me looking straight ahead.
“Oh, you’re not going to drag me away somewhere? Or force me to talk to you?”
As I talked an uneasy expression took over his face.
“Sorry.”
He continued to look foreword.
Did I just hear him apologize? Did the guy who thinks every girl, wants and likes him apologize…to me? Since Jackson is such a player I honestly didn’t believe what he was saying and I’m still upset from what happened yesterday that I really didn’t want to deal with his crap today. I grab my things to leave, but he quickly grabbed me by my arm.
“Ouch!”
I yell not from his grab, but from a huge bruise that was on my arm. Jackson removes is hand and apologizes again.
“Why are you so sorry all of a sudden?! You never seemed to apologize after all the other things you have done to me!” I yelled.
He looks away from me and starts to explain.
“I’m just sorry. I do like you it’s just… I’ve never had to deal with a girl like you, a girl who doesn’t just say yes, and from that I wanted to be with you. So I tried all these ways, but you still don’t like me. And I never wanted it to go this far…I-I never wanted you to get hurt.”
“What do you mean get hurt?”
“(Sigh) After you left yesterday, I went to follow you to explain everything. I saw you in the courtyard and what SuBin did to you. I wanted to help you, but I figured I was the last person you wanted to see, so I went to find Dani and told her to help you.”
I sat back in my sit as I listened to Jackson. I didn’t know what to do or to say. Before I could turn and say thanks to him he had already left. I look on my desk to see a note.
“Alright class please take your seats, so we can continue the lesson.”
Class finally ended and Jackson never returned. I felt bad for yelling at him and I still haven’t read the note he put on my desk. I go up to YoungJae and ask him where Jackson was.
“I’m not sure noona.”
“Well does he go to a certain place when he’s upset?”
“Ah! He goes up to the rooftop, but why?”
“Ah no reason.”
“Do you need help to your next class?”
“No I’m fine, I’ll see you later.”
Before I go to find Jackson I stop at my locker to read his note, but Jr was there.
“YoSung! Why are you limping?”
Great one more person to deal with.
“I fell down my stairs. Haha I’m really clumsy.”
He smiles and tells me to be me to be more careful.
“Why are you here?”
“Do you remember what today is?”
I thought and thought until I realized it’s Friday. On Monday I promised Jr that I would come to another one of their performances at the club.
“Ah yeah I almost forgot.”
“Are you still going to come?”
“Of course!”
I wasn’t the type to break a promise even if I was in my worst condition. Jr hugs me and waves goodbye.
After many interruptions I can finally read Jackson’s note
I hope you can really understand how sorry I am for all the things that I have done. I didn’t mean to hurt you. I actually am a nice guy, but it’s been so long that I have met a nice girl; I guess I forgot how to be nice. I wish for you to find a way to forgive me. But you don’t have to see me anymore because I will make sure to leave you alone. I won’t say a word to you anymore and I will tell everyone that we were never dating.
Sorry, Jackson
I never thought Jackson could me that genuine. Now I really feel bad. Even though Jackson was a jerk since the day I met him, I didn’t want him to completely ignore me. I never got to met the real Jackson Wang, just the jerk and I wanted the chance to meet the real him.
I walk up the stairs to the rooftop and see Jackson standing there. A smile came across m face as I walked towards him.
“Thanks for your letter, but I still would like to stay friends. Can we start over?”
He turns around and pulls me into a hug.
“I would love to start over.”
[Mark’s POV]
I saw YoSung by her locker and started to walk up to her to tell her everything that I have been holding in. But before I got over there she left up the stairs that lead to the rooftop. I followed behind her, but stopped at the door when I saw she was going to talk to Jackson. Jackson pulls YoSung into in a hug and she hugs back. Why am I always too late?
