***Your POV***
Once I walked out to the car my phone started ringing. I took my phone out of my pocket and it said “Appa.” Omo. Before I got into the car I picked it up.
“Ne Appa?”
“Appa is checking up on you. How are you?”
“Oh I’m fine Appa.”
“What is my lovely daughter doing?”
Lovely daughter?! Does he even know one thing about me?
“Uhh…”
Unnie pulled down the window.
“Dongsaeng ppalli we are going to be late.”
I got into the car and unnie started driving to the airport. I told Appa to hold on one second.
“Unnie I’m talking to my Appa so shh.” I whispered to her. I put the phone next to my ear again and said,
“Okay Appa. I’m sleeping over at Eun Jung’s house for a couple days.”
“Eun Jung?”
*Face palm* “Appa, she’s my unnie. My friend.”
“Ahhh that girl. You didn’t even ask for my permission.”
“Appa, you don’t even pick up when I call so what’s the point?”
“Don’t give attitude to your Appa.”
“I’m not giving attitude.”
“Anyway I called not to check up on you but to tell you that I will be in LA for a couple days before coming home to see you.”
At this time when those words came out of his mouth my phone instantly fell out of my hand and onto the car floor. Appa is going to be in LA. Na eotteokhae? Na eotteokhae? (I think that’s how you say what do I do in korean. Sorry my korean romanization is bad. Mianhae!) I picked up my phone and hung up on him. What am I going to do if he sees me in LA? What will happen if he does see me? Na eotteokhae?
“Yoona gwenchana?”
“Nan gwenchana.”
“So wae the long face?”
“Unnie, my Appa is going to be in LA.”
“Oh really, that’s…… MWO?!?!”
“Unnie, Na eotteokhae?”
“Don’t worry. Uhh all we have to do is be careful where we go and keep look out for him. How long is he staying there actually?”
“He didn’t say how long, he just said a couple of days.”
“Aishh he’s not helpful at all. Did he say why he is going to be there?”
“Ani, he didn’t…”
“Wae didn’t you ask?”
“I was too shocked to answer him and I hung up.”
“Okay let’s not talk about this now. Let’s pretend nothing happened and talk about it once we get there arasseo?”
“Ne, arasseo.”
***Eun Jung’s POV***
“Okay let’s not talk about this now. We are going to pretend that nothing happened and talk about this once we get to the hotel arasseo?”
“Ne, arasseo.”
I couldn’t believe her Appa is going to be in LA. That just totally ruin the fun. Aishh and his timing. I wanted to punch him the face. Well good thing I planned ahead and bought two hats and sunglasses just in case we see him at LA airport. Unnie is so smart. Hehehehe. Now, while I am driving lets think of a plan. We must be very careful where we go. If we aren’t careful he could catch us and Yoona would be in big trouble. But wae LA all of a sudden? He is a very mysterious person alright. Hmm we probably won’t be able to get to go shopping a lot or eat at places often either. Once we get there we are going to the hotel right away. Then we will plan on what we will do with her Appa. Thank god my Unnie will be there to take us to the hotel. I think it was called The LA Hotel Downtown. She said that it was a wonderful place and it’s very luxurious. I told her not to book us somewhere expensive but noooooooo my Unnie never listens to me she does whatever she wants. But I guess that she’s older than me and that means she could do whatever she desires.
***At the airport***
***Still Eun Jung’s POV***
We finally made it to the airport and now we are fast walking to get through security and then onto the plane. The plane ride to LA is 12 hours and 26 minutes so we need to really comfortable. I look back to see Yoona slowly following behind I kinda stopped telling her to hurry up because I know shes worried. But if we don’t make it in time we are going to miss the flight. So I turned around, grabbed her suitcase and dragged her with me till we got to the gates for our flight. We waited for our seat number to be called before getting onto the plane. “SEAT E4 E5 AND E6 PLEASE COME UP!” The lady shouted our seat number so I continued dragging Yoona up to the lady. I gave her my ticket then Yoona gave hers and we made our way to our seats. Luckily there was no one in seat E6. I put our suitcases on top in the little cubby thingy. Yoona already sat down. When I finished I had my purse in my lap and turned to Yoona.
“Yoona it’s going to be okay. Stop worrying so much.”
“Unnie how can you say that? You know my dad and you know what happens when he finds out I’m not sleeping over at your house.”
“He won’t find out I promise.”
“Don’t make promises you can’t keep. And I know you can’t keep this promise.”
“Okay, but I will make sure you won’t get caught,” I reached into my purse and pulled out a cap and some sunglasses, “If we see your Appa at the LA airport you will put this on and so will I. Then we will quickly make our way out of the airport to my Unnie. Arasseo?”
“Arasseo. What if it doesn’t work?”
“I don’t know… I’ll think about it. Now rest it’s going to be a long trip.”
“Ne, gomawo Unnie.”
***12 hours later of eating, goofing around and sleeping***
***Your POV***
I slowly woke up to the sound of flight attendants talking. They were saying that we only had 26 minutes left until landing. I went to stretch and accidentally woke up Unnie with a punch to the cheek. I quickly stopped stretching and waited for her to wake up.
“Yah! what kind of way was that to wake someone up Dongsaeng?”
“Mianhae Unnie. I went to stretch and accidentally punched you in the cheek. Mianhae mianhae mianhae.”
“Nan gwenchana.”
“We only have 26 minutes till we land.”
“Okay, wake me up when we only have 5 minutes. I’m tired.”
“Unnie what am I going to do in the meantime? Unnie?”
I looked over to Eun Jung and she was fast asleep. Oh whatever I’ll let her sleep. I decided I would call Amber and Lucy to check up.
-Phone Conversation-
Amber: Annyeonghaseyo?
You: Annyeong Amber.
Amber: Ohhh Yoona. How are you?
You: Nan gwenchana. What about you and Lucy?
Amber: We are fine. How’s the flight?
You: We are almost there. Yah. I have a question.
Amber: Ne, geuge mwoyeyo?
You: Did Appa call saying anything?
Amber: Ne, he said he was going to be in LA so be careful.
You: I will, did he say how long?
Amber: He said a week. He will be there for a week. So don’t worry you will be home before he does.
You: True. Gomawo Amber I’m going to go now. Annyeong.
Amber: Okay annyeong Yoona. Have a nice trip.

***Skipping to when they get into the airport and trying to look for Eun Jung’s Unnie***
***Still Your POV***
We got off the plane and now we are going to find Eun Jung’s sister. But we can’t seem to do so. We were like searching everywhere. She was nowhere in sight. So we decided we would sit down and wait for her to find us.
“Unnie what if she forgot to come get us?”
“She texted me saying she was here. I don’t know wae we can’t find her.”
“Let’s just wait then.”
From the corner from my eye I could see a familiar face. I haven’t seen this face in such a while I totally didn’t recognize it at first. It was Appa. I started hitting Unnie to get her attention so that she could look the way I was looking. She looked at me then the direction I was looking in. Her eyes widen and she snatched the cap and sunglasses from my hand. She forcefully put the cap on my head and then the sunglasses. And did the same for her and we just sat there minding our own business. He was walking this way and passed us. But then he turned back around and looked towards me. I looked the other way pretending if someone was calling me then I looked back to see him walking this way.
