Work or You... My Choice is You

I pull myself up in bed to find it empty and his spot growing cold.
He must have left to make it back to the dorms before it’s noticed that he snuck out to see me again.
I pull myself out of bed and wrap my blanket around my body as I whisper, "I feel so used."
"Why is that?"
I whip myself around away from looking out the window to see his cute squinty eye smile looking at me soon to turn worried.
"Its nothing must have been a bad dream that I had before I woke up.”
“Are you sure the way you look and sounded it was almost like you believed it as if it was a conscious thought?”
“Yes I’m sure. Sunggyu why are you here anyways?”
He holds up a small paper bag with what looks like my favorite type of coffee.
“I left to get you some coffee and a scone. I don’t have any schedules today so I thought I’d spend it with my girlfriend.”
I almost scoff at him, “So you have no schedule today deciding that you want to spend time with me for once.”
His already small eyes squint even more at me studying me, “Are you mad at me because I haven’t been home?” He didn’t’ say it as a question more of a statement as if he knew it was the truth.
To him my answer is my silence.
“Jariya it’s not like that. I love you, but I want to work hard so you don’t have to over work yourself like you did when we first met. If you want me to stop and anytime you want tell me and I’ll stop.”
This makes me sit down holding the blanket closer to my chest then before, “Love, you don’t need to do that. You love singing and the guys far to much. It’s just Infinite doesn’t even know about me so in the mornings after you come over you’re always gone. I’ve never even met the guys except at a fan conference after we started dating.”
“Alright,” he races into the closet and comes out with a dress, a pair of shorts, and then he opens my dresser tossing me a pair of underwear for me to wear, “Get dressed you’re going to meet Infinite.”
“Isn’t the a bit sudden?”
He looks at me as his eyes twinkle, as he looks me over as I try to get dressed.
“Nope, you’re right it’s too much to have you date me in secret for the last two years. I cant’ ask you to go another day. Plus… It may make thing easier and less complicated.”
I nod deciding that he makes sense and there’s no use fighting with him because sooner or later he always gets what he wants.
As we leave, I give Sunggyu his hat, mask, and sunglasses.
I slip on my hat and mask as well mostly because there are still people that will recognize him,
We make it to the Infinite dorm without any trouble.
Still when he opens the door, I hide behind him with a death grip on the back of his shirt.
I hear five voices of the other infinite members.
I stay behind Sunggyu as he is about to introduce me a high pitched voice screeches in my ear making me jump from behind my boyfriend aka my wall and come face to face with the infinite members.
“Hyung who is this?”
I jump back over to my boyfriend and cling onto him as if he’s my life raft in the middle of the ocean.
I watch the guys stare at me like I’m a circus freak they are trying to figure out.
Sunggyu looks down at me and smiles as he takes one of my hands in his pull off my mask and hat then doing the same for himself.
“Guys this is my girlfriend, ____. I have been dating her for the last 2 years and I was kind of afraid how all of this would affect her.”
“Still why and hide her from us and lie to us when we’d ask you questions?” I think Hoya says…
Hoya is the one that likes the color purple right?
I look at him and I see a look that I know way to well on his face.
I reach up and take his face in my hands forgetting his friends are in the room with us, “Sunggyu you thought I’d go after one of them? Afraid that I didn’t truly like you?”
He nods his head and looks away from me and everyone else, “Yes.”
I gently turn his face to look me in the eyes, “Sunggyu I love you and only love you. No one can ever get in the way of that.”
He nods his head, as he keeps silent until he says, “It’s not just that you have to remember our fans and media get a hold of this.”
I nod my head and smiles at him, “I know Sunggyu. I never cared about that. Since I can remember you have been by my side even though for a while you had a phobia of my dog.”
He laughs nervously, “You knew about that.”
I slap the back of his head playfully, “Of course I noticed the second you asked me if I needed help with my bags and how you tried to avoid my dogs not like you were a allergic but afraid he'd kill you in your sleep. I thought it was cute.”
He laughs and leans down to give me a kiss but a cough makes us break apart with a nice shade of pink on our cheeks.
What I know the grease ball tries to flirt with me after a while and before I can do anything Hoya grabs a hold of him and tosses him out of the dorm.
I laugh, "Thank Hoya."
After awhile I speak up again, “Sorry but can I steal Sunggyu for the rest of the day. I think I ruined his plans for the day by having him pick to do this.”
I wave to everyone, pull Sunggyu out of the dorm, and step on greaseball on ‘accident.’
“Sunggyu I’m sleepy can we go to bed when we get back to the dorm. You kept me up to long last night.”
He smiles at me as he looks at me, “And who’s fault was it?”
I laugh as I tug his hair and race off with him on my tail racing back to our apartment.
