Flower's Shop

I feel so lazy today, I opened up my eyes. It morning already, I yawn a bit. I walked lazily to my bathroom. I take my toothbrush and start to brush my teeth “Why did Omma agreed with Ajusshi without asking me first?” I mumble. My mom said that my uncle going to borrow me for a few months to take care of his flower shop. His flower shop was located beside the park it takes 15 minutes from my house by walking. She didn’t ask me first before make the deal. I walked down to the kitchen searching for my mom “I don’t feel like going today omma, I’m tired” I said to my mom. “Aish just for a few months” my mom said while frying the egg. I sat down on the chair “How long that few months?” I ask her while lying my head down on the table. “Two maybe, just for a while ok? Before your cousin, Sang Min came back from US” my mom answers me. “Sang Min hyung? But I don’t want to go Omma” I start to whine, my mom stare at me “I heard your ajusshi going to pay you double if you willing to help him, but since you don’t want it…” she said while serving the food “Who said I don’t want to go? I’m ready!” I make a big eyed and look at my mom. She giggles “Change your mind already? Good boy” my mom rub my head. “Yes, I’m the good son” I blink my eyes and act cute. Whatever that can makes money, I will do it. I love money! Suddenly Bbobbo came to my legs, he start to bark. I pick him up, "Hi baby, have you eat yet?" I kiss him and he lick my nose. I update my twitter “I already smell of the fresh flower!”

*A week later*

My phone is ringing “Yeoboseyo?” I answer, “Yaa Shin Dongho can you help me right now?” it was Soohyun hyung “Sure. Wae?” he sound in hurry “I was on my way to your flower shop, I need you to prepare bunch of lilies! This is an emergency! I will come right away” he hung the phone. I look at my phone “Why is he in hurry? Oh well” I take bunch of lilies and wrap it nicely, “Don’t tell me hyung is on date?” I laugh at myself, “Soohyun hyung on date!” sent to all members. After 5 minutes, suddenly someone came in hurry “Yaa it’s done?” I saw Soohyun hyung came in, he trying to catch his breath. “Here you go. Wait hyung, where are you going wear something like this? A date eh?” I tease him. He starts to blush “Sort of, don’t tell other members ok?” he warn me. “I will” I lied and cross my finger. They already know it. "I’m sorry but hyung need to hurry, here the money” he put the money and run out “Hyung! Fighting!” I walked to the door and yelled “Arasso! Thanks!” he replied while smile and wave at me. I still standing in front of the door, suddenly I saw a girl came out from the café not far away from my flower shop. I was mesmerized by her for a moment, she is wearing nice dress, look so cute. “She is my type” I talked to myself. My phone vibrate, a message from Soohyun hyung “Thanks for helping me, hyung will treat you next time” I smiled and replied “Hyung, you better tell me to who you give the flower” “I will. Soon~” he replied. I laugh “Still want to keep secret?” Suddenly everybody start to reply my message they all shocked "Seriously?" Eli hyung sent. Lol Soohyun hyung will kill me if he knows. I search for that girl before aish that girl already left. Who is she? Hope to see her again. If I could, lol~
I opened up the shop like always. Someone poke me, “Morning Dongho” I was Joon, he working at the café. “Hey Joon. Why so early?” I asked him. “Yeah since noona always went to the hospital. I have to open the café for her” he answers, it was his boss “What happens to Sungrin Noona?” I asked him “She have health problem, she didn’t tell me but she look really sick” Joon look so sad.”Hope she will get well soon” I pat his shoulder “Yeah I hope so, because I start to miss her” Joon just smiled. “Ya last night we recruit new worker, she is cute” Joon tell me, I just laugh “Really? You should introduce her to me” he laugh “I will, ok I have to go. Looks like noona called me. See you later” he wave at me and answer the phone. I lift the black board outside of the shop. I start preparing to open the shop, suddenly I saw the girl last night. “That girl” secretly I walked and try to peeking her. Where is she going? I asked myself. Suddenly before I can stalk her, my uncle stand in front of me and block my view “Morning Dongho, here some breakfast. Your auntie made it” he smiles at me. “Aahh ajusshi” I said in my mind. I take it with my bitter smile “Thanks ajusshi” once again I lost her. "What? What did I do?" he asked me.
I was playing my PSP, so bored. “Where is Kiseop hyung?” I ask myself, he said he will stop by after work. After half an hour he arrived, “Yo~ hi flower boy” he said while wave at me. “Hyung!” I feel so excited, “Playing game, again?” he pointed at my PSP. “So bored hyung what should I do” I pout. “I came to pick up flower” he said to me. “When did you order?” I ask. “Ah no, I just help my friend to pick up, here the receipt” he handed me the receipt. “She got fever so she can come” he explain “Why so many flower hyung?” it’s about two bucket “Owh it’s for one of our office college dad’s funeral, her dad dies in car crash” he look at the flower “That terrible, hope she will be ok” I said to him while wrap all the flower nicely. “Yeah hope so” he start to look around, “Yaa this shop sure big, where is your uncle?” Kiseop hyung ask. “He went to meet his friends. They have something to discuss, about green house. I think lol” I rub my head “Ya let’s eat I’m hungry” he pout. “Let’s go wait let me put closed sign” we went to the Sungrin noona café. We walked inside “Welcome” some new worker greet us. I look at her; this is the girl that I saw last night! I start to blush. Kiseop hyung look at me, “Ya why you face turn red?” he said while pull the chair. She come toward us and gives the menu. I act cool and start to order “I... I… I want turkey sandwiches and caramel flan latte” I start to stutter and hold the menu tight. Kiseop hyung just watch me and giggles “I want white chocolate mocha and… and grilled chicken sandwich” he start to copy me. I glared at him and made some face. “Thanks for ordering” she smile and walk to the kitchen. “Pftttt….” Kiseop hyung start to laugh. “What?” I look at him. “I should record the way to talk" he start to laugh "You like her right?!” he starts to scream “Shhh… Ahh Hyung!” I panicked and quickly cover his mouth. Everyone start to look at us.

“Ajusshi, do you have any jonquil bulb?” I ask. “Jonquil bulb? I think I got it in the green house?” he answer “Why someone orders it?” he asked me “My friend” I answer “Tell him to wait for a week because I’m afraid the bulb it not ready yet” he smiled. “Ok I will tell him” I take out my phone “Aigoo since you came here, my flower shop always full! This is great I will pay you extra” he laugh while pat on my back “You are lucky to have a good looking nephew like me” I act macho and he laugh “Yeah come to me money!” I said in my mind and I laugh. I text Eli hyung “Hyung we have the bulb, but you have to wait for a week” sent! A message received “What one week? Ok then, yaa tomorrow I will go to Japan to visits Aj” he replied “Really hyung? How long you will be there?” visit Aj hyung? I want to go too “A week I think. Hey remind me when you get the bulb. I’m afraid that I will forget lol. Hey come over tonight and buy some Tokkebi Hotdogs, please before I leave to Japan” he sure know how to begging people “Aish hyung, ok I will buy it” “I love you Shin Dongho *kiss*” I stop message him. “What with the kiss!” I laugh. i look at my watch already 6.30 pm “Ah need to go home first” it’s raining outside. “Ajusshi, ajuma, I will leave first” I bow and I take the umbrella, “Nae, be carefull~” he was busy packed some flower. Since my auntie help him today, he let me go home early. I was standing in front of the door, I pulled my hoodies on. The rain is getting heavier. I look at the café just wondering if I could see her. I went out and I saw her, look like she already finish her job. She was standing in front of the café waiting.
I want to talk to her but I’m so nervous, what if she was waiting for her boyfriend? “A cute girl like her, she must have a boyfriend” I mumbles. After 10 minutes, she still there. Can I talk to her? Urgh this is embarrassing, what should I do? Suddenly my uncle pats my shoulder “You not leaving yet?” “Ahaha I just want to wait for the moment” I rub my neck “Ahh heavy rain, you want me to send you home?” my uncle offered “It’s ok ajusshi, I got this umbrella” I smiled. My uncle look outside “Ahh because of her eh?” he point at that girl and start to tease me “Ahh ajusshi not like that” I denied, he laughed and start to push me “Go dongho don’t make her wait” “Ajusshi, wait you misunderstood” he push me out and closed the door. He wave at me from inside and said “Fighting!” make me annoyed “Ajusshi!” I yelled. That girl look at me, I feel so embarrassing. Slowly I start to walked, I look at her. She just look other way, be brave Shin Dongho! I walked toward her, she just look at me. I’m getting closed to her, but I just walked away. I turned back, “Hey… take this” I hand her my umbrella. She looks confused, “For me? It’s ok” she smiled. I put the umbrella in her hand, “Just take it” I said. She blinked her eyes. I start to blush “See you” I try to act cool. I pull my hoodies and start to run. I feel so embarrassing, where that strength came? I smile like a fool on my way home.
“I’m home~” still smiling, my mom look at me “Why are you wet? Where is your umbrella? What if you will get sick? Yaa are you listening?” so many questions she asked me. I feel so happy I run up to my room “Yaa Shin Dongho” I heard my mom yelled. I’m taking shower, I look at my hand “I touch her hand?” I start to giggles. Suddenly I remember “Ahh I need to go to Eli hyung house and buy him hotdog” I mumble “But its ok~” I sing a bit. I wore my cloth and run down, “Now where are you going young man?” my mom stops me. “I’m going to Eli hyung house, he want to go to Japan tomorrow omma, to see Aj hyung” I explain while wearing my shoes “Ah Aj… Wait for a moment” she went to kitchen. “Here give to Aj, since his study so hard” my mom hand me big food container full of kimchi. “Nae Omma~” I still happy I just take it. “What happen today? You look so happy?” my mom laugh while looking at me “Nothing omma just feel happy, I’m leaving omma” I said to her. “Be careful, and give it some to Eli ok?” she yelled, I wave at her. On my way there, I buy a lot of hotdog. Arrive at Eli hyung house, “What lift out of service?” I hate to climb up. 4th floor it like 14th floor, “Ah hyung why your house so high!” I complaint, while climb up the stair with my mom kimchi and the hotdog. “Hyung open the floor” I try to catch my breath and ring his door bells. He opened up his door, “Our dongho has arrive!” he sound so happy, he help me lift the food. Looks like everyone here accept Kevin hyung. “You bought food?” Hoon hyung ask me, “Ah I buy the hotdogs, this kimchi is from my mom to Aj hyung but if you want to eat it just take it” I put the kimchi on the table. I bring the hotdog to them. “Where is Kevin hyung?” I asked, “He needs to send his “friend” at airport he will come later” Eli hyung said while smirked. “I think that girl was his girlfriend” Hoon hyung said and everybody start to agreed. “What the occasion tonight?” I ask. “Soohyun is getting engage!” Eli hyung start to scream. “Ya what are you saying? It’s just a blind date!” Soohyun start to blush “Hey wait how did you guys know?” he look straight at me “Shin Dongho you” I hide behind Eli hyung “Mian hyung... That why you buy the lilies right?!” I laugh. “He buy a flower for that girl?” everyone start to make noise. Suddenly kiseop hyung said “I have something to tell!” he starts to laugh. “What? Are you getting married too hyung?” Hoon hyung tease Kiseop hyung. “No… Shin Dongho have a crush!” he pointed at me. “Ah hyung, what was that?” I start to blush. "He even stutter in front of that girl" he keep tell them, I try to covered his mouth. Eli hyung start to hold me, I feel so helpless. Suddenly Kevin hyung opened the door "I'm here" he said while smiling. "Ah Kevin hyung, already sent your girlfriend to the airport?" I start to change the topic. "Yaa what are you talking about" he start to blush. Everybody start to goes crazy again. I'm save, mian Kevin hyung.
Today, I went to the café again. I didn’t see her, I saw Joon at the counter “Yaa Iced Coffee like always” I said to Joon while my eyes secretly searching for her “You name sir” Joon tease me “Ah stop it Joon-ah. You know my name” I feel so annoyed. He laughed “By the way her name is ___ and she not here right now she in the kitchen” Joon said to me while write something on the cup “Yaa what are you talking about?” I pretend. “Still want to deny it? Here your coffee, Dongho oppa~” he acts like want to kiss me “Yaa stop it” I glared at him. Sungrin noona came out from her office. “Noona, where have you been?” I’m happy to see her. “Dongho-ah!” she wave at me “Well I’m not so well lately” she cough, her face look so pale “You came here to buying a coffee or try to find someone here?” she smirked and start to tease me. Aish this noona even she sick, still want to tease me?. I’m glaring at Joon. I know he will tell Sungrin noona about it. He avoided my eye contact and starts to hide behind Sungrin noona. “Of course I’m buying the coffee. Noona your coffee is the best here” I said to her with my thumbs up. She slaps lightly my shoulder “Aigoo this kid, sweet like always” she pinched my cheek. Suddenly that girl came out from the kitchen, she look at me. I start to blush and try to walk away. I walked faster without look in front of me and I hit the glass door. I feel so stupid right now, I heard Joon said “Oppa are you ok?” and he start to laugh at me. Sungrin noona slap Joon back and run to me “Pfftt… Dongho-ah, are you ok?!” she also hold her laugh. “I’m fine noona, got to go now” I put the iced coffee on my head and run out. What am I doing? I ran inside my uncle flower shop. I start to suck the iced coffee, try to make myself calm after what happen. I saw something on my cup, “I Love _____!!!”, I start to blush. “Aish Joon” I bite my lips, he even draw some love on it. I fan a bit my face, my uncle stare at me. “Are you ok? You face turn red right now” he asked me. “I’m ok ajusshi just feel bit hot in here” I start to hide the cup. I feel embarrassing and look other way. “I’m going to weeding hall right now to arrange some flower, look after the shop ok?” he smile. “Ok ajusshi” I wave at him. Suddenly some good looking guy came in, “Anyeonghasaeyo, how can I help you?” I bow and smile at him. He’s wearing some nerdy cloth with his big glasses. Even he wore like that he look so cool “I want a bunch of pink and white roses” he said to me. “Wah… You want to give to your girlfriend?” I asked him. “Yeah to my girl” he smile and look around the shop. “She work at the café beside there” he said while look at other flower. I stop for a while, no way don’t say this is her boyfriend. I start to feel sad a bit, she already have a boyfriend? This is not real. No, maybe it’s for other person. Yeah that right! I said in my mind. “Here you flower sir” I hand it to him, I feel bit bitter inside. “Thanks, Wow so beautiful, good job. Here the money” he smiled and walked out the door.
Secretly I followed and peek him, I watch him from distance. He went to Sungrin noona café. Please give it to other person. Suddenly, I saw that girl went out. He stands in front of the café with the flower behind him. I saw she talking to him. No, that was her boyfriend? My heart broke, I went inside I don’t want to watch the rest. I took my PSP and start to play game, I want to calm my heart but it won’t work. I drink the coffee again and again. I want to tell her that I like her but it was too late. It’s time to closing the shop. I lock the door; I feel so down right now. Someone pat my shoulder, “Hi dongho!” I turn and saw Sungrin noona. “Ah… Noona” I said weakly, “Ya are you ok?” she asked me. “Yeah… I think so…” I put the key inside my bag. “Here some cake for you” she handed me a box. “Thanks noona” I take it and I look down on the floor but I saw something behind Sungrin noona. “Noona what was that? Behind you” I pointed at it. She start to blushed “Ah this? My boyfriend give it to me, pretty isn’t it?” she show me bunch of flower. “You wrap it right?” she asks. Yeah that was the flower that I wrap before. Suddenly I feel so happy, so that man earlier was her boyfriend? I feel like want to scream. “It was me, who else can wrap beautifully like this!” I feel so excited. She stared at me “Ommo, why you getting excited so sudden?” I smiled “Nothing noona~”. That man came closer to us, he takes her hand “Are you try to cheat on me” he glared at Sungrin noona. She just looks other way and ignored him. “No hyung this is just misunderstood” I start to panic he start to glare at me. “Aish stop teasing him” Sungrin noona slap on her boyfriend shoulder. He laughed “I know. I just want to tease you. Hi Dongho, I’m Hoseok… Jung Hoseok. Sungrin’s man” he gave me his hand. I start to laugh “Hi hyung… Nice to meet you” I giggle and shake his hand. I thought he will get mad at me. “Thank for the beautiful flower Dongho, she love it” he smiled at me. “Now let’s go home jagiya~” he grab Sungrin noona waist, “Ya stop it” she start to blushed and push Hoseok hyung chest. I feel so happy just by looking at them so lovely dovey. “Mian dongho-ah, noona have to go. See you tomorrow” both of them wave at me “Yaa so good to be like that” I mumble. “I was wondering waht it feel like, if you and me holding hands ____-ah?” I start to dream and smiled.
I went out to meet my friends, it’s been a while since I didn’t meet them, well today was my off day. Almost 10 pm right now, now I was on my way home. I walk down the park, all the shop around the park already closed. I walked pass by my uncle flower shop, I peek at Sungrin noona café. Already closed, I thought I could meet her. I sighs “Aish I’m bit too late” I walked through the park, I saw her sitting on the chair beside the park. She still here? This is destiny, I start to smile. I walked toward her, “Hi” I said her. She look at me “Ah you, I try to find you at the shop but you not there” she said to me while searching something in her bag “Here your umbrella” she hand me the umbrella. “You wait for me all day here?” I start to blush “Ah no, I’m just sit here to watch the fireflies” she laugh “Fireflies? I start to blush and start to feel stupid. What are you expected stupid! She pointed at me “You see that honeysuckle tree?” “Where?” I searched for it. “Come here” she pull my hand. I sit next to her, my heart start to beat. “There, you see it?” she getting closer to me. I start to blush “But I don’t see any fireflies” I said to her with my shaking voice. “Wait for it and you will see” she giggles. After 5 minutes waiting. Suddenly, there a lot of fireflies start to come out. “Wow so beautiful” I was amazed and I look at her. “It’s beautiful right?” she said to me while looking at the fireflies “Yeah so beautiful” I said while looking at her. “By the way, my name is ___, I want to ask your name but I didn’t get a chance because you start to run other days” she said to me. “My omma name is…” I lost my mind. What omma? Stupid Shin Dongho. “Omma?” she start to giggles “Aish mian, my name is Dongho… Shin Dongho” I feel so embarrassing. "You are so funny Dongho" she said to me. I just shrugged. “Where did you live?” I asked her “I live at The Garden Apartment” she answers “You live around here too? Same as me” I feel so excited. “You live at the apartment too?” she asked me with her curious face “No I live near the apartment” I blush and rub my head. That was Eli hyung apartment! “I think I will get going” she said to me while looking at her watch. “Wait” I pull her bag “Let go home together” I said to her while blushing. “Sure why not, shall we?” she smiled at me. We both walked together, she keeps talking. She is so friendly she always laughed. “Do you have a boyfriend?” suddenly I asked her. I just want to know the truth. “I don’t have one, why?” she said to me and smiled. I stared at her, "I... I..." I start to blush. What should I said? I start to stutter again. Suddenly she grab my hand. Wow so fast? I said to myself “What the matter?” I asked her while blushing. She look so serious “Hey, can you run fast?” she asked me. “Run fast? Why?” I asked her “Because we better start to run… Now!!!!” she pulled my hand and start to running away. I still blurry, suddenly I hear dog bark behind me. Now I get it. “This crazy dog!” I yelled. “You know about it too?” she asked me “He always chase people, I have been chase by him before” I said while running. She starts to laugh, we were holding hands and we run together. I feel so happy tonight. Even right now we were running away from that dog, I feel that the chemistry between us start to growth.
I feel so energetic today. I opened the shop like always, “Morning Dongho ya~” my uncle came in, “Come help me, bring the entire flower inside” “Nae ajusshi” I run outside and take the flower basket. “So many flower today ajusshi?” I asked “Ahh we got order from big company, for farewell party tonight” I just nodded. I help my uncle prepared the flower, I was wondering if she has come yet? I was bit busy today. That afternoon, I pretend to wipe the window outside, I want to stalk her. Well in case she went outside. I take a look at the café while cleaning the window. My phone ringing, “Yeoboseyo?” I answer it. “Yaa Shin Dongho, who are you stalk?” it was Hoon hyung. “What are you talking about hyung?” I asked him. “You are stalking that girl right?” he starts to giggles, “Hyung? Where are you?” I asked him but he hung up the phone. I look at my phone “What was that about?” I mumble. “I’m here” suddenly Hoon hyung appeared behind me “Ah hyung you scared me” I grab my chest. He start to laugh, “You, stalker!” he yelled. “Ah hyung slow down” I covered his mouth and drag him inside the shop. He smile at me, “Any progress?” he asked me.”Well we already walk home together” I start to blush. “Yaa You want me to help?” he raise his eyebrow “Ahh hyung no thanks I’m fine” I play with the poppy flower. “Why are you here hyung?” I asked him “I just stop by, I’m on my way to meet my friend” he smiled “Ok then I will keep going, you can continue your stalking things” he laughed at me “Bye lover boy” he said to me and start to walk out the shop “Ah hyung!” I feel so annoyed. My uncle tells me that my cousin will start help him. It almost two month I work here? I didn’t realize it. “If you still want to work here it will be an honour” he said to me, should I stop work here? I was knitting. I’m making a scarf, pink scarf “Should I give this to her? Wait she like pink color?” I start to blush. I don’t know why but I really feel want to see her right now. I want to hear to her voice and I want to see her bright smile. I look at the ribbon corner, one of the ribbon is messing. “Aish who made this mess?” I try to fix them up. Suddenly the door bell ring, someone came in. I was fixing the ribbon “Anyeonghaseyo” I said I tried to get up and turn. “Hi Dongho” she said to me she look so happy. I just standing there, it was her. I blinked my eyes. “Ah… Hi ___sshi” my cheek started to turn red and my heart start to beat. “Here for you” she gave an iced coffee. “For me? Really? Thanks” I smile like a silly person. “Well I will get going then, Joon will get mad at me” she said to me while playing with the roses. I look closer to the cup “This is….” I talked to myself and I walked to her with my serious face. She look at me, I take her hand and take out my sharpie. She looks bit shocked, I wrote “Yes” on her hand. We both look at each other, she kissed my cheek and run out. My face turn red and I touch my cheek "She kiss me?"

On the cup: “Will you go out with me, tonight?”
