Flower's Shop

Today is Friday, but my friend and I take a leave. We want to finish up our annual leave so we make a decision to take tour at Morning Calm’s Garden, Gyeonggi. It’s a garden that full with so many types of flowers. Well it’s been a long time since I came here. “Lee Cho Hee hurry or we are going to be late!” I said to my friend. Cho Hee was my childhood friend; she is so pretty but very funny and sometime a clumsy person. “Mian, ____-ah I forgot my wallet” she said to me. “Aish you” I glared at her. So we ride a bus to Cheongpyeong terminal, and after that we take a cab. It’s about 3 hours to go there, but it’s ok as long it worth it, we both just enjoy our ride while see the beautiful morning scene.
“Here we are” the ajusshi said, I saw the signboard “The Garden of Morning Calm”. Wow it still the same. This is the place where I always came with my ex, I really hate this place because it bring out so many memory about us. I still remember we broke up because I caught him with another girl. Since Cho Hee really wanted to come here, so I say why not. Just forget the stupid memory and let have fun. Cho Hee looks so happy right now, she is so addicted to flower. “Hey, ____ look at that, but wait this one is rare to be found” she keep talking, I feel like a mom walking with her 5 years old daughter. I just smiled and said “Calm down we have one day in here”. She laugh at me and said “Ok mom!”. “Yaa you!” I laugh while we walk slowly inside the garden.
After 4 hour walking, “Yaa Cho Hee, I’m so tired let stop for a while” I sat down on the ground. “Aish are you getting older or what? Come on get up” she pulls me. Suddenly she said to me “Yaa wait here I want to go the toilet” and she run to the toilet. “Pheww... At last I can rest my feet” I said to myself, I looked around and I saw a small flower. It really beautiful, there were so many of them. “What the name of this flower?” I mumble myself. Suddenly someone answer it “It’s a violet flower”, I gasp and I look up, I saw a handsome man standing beside me. “Wow who is he?” I stared at him, and then he said “Are you stupid or what? Can you read the signboard beside you? It already been shown” he smirked. It pissed me off. “Hello mister did I ever ask you?” he look at me and said “Nope, I just want to tell you”, “So you can’t tell me nicely? Move your butt off, sucker!” I glared at him. He just stand there, he smiled. I get up and walk away. What wrong with that guy? Now I even more hate guy.
I saw Cho Hee wave at me, I walk toward her. She look at my gloomy face, “___-ah what wrong?” she ask, “Ahh that guy, suddenly he came out from nowhere and said am I stupid or what” I said to her while show her the guy. “Omg, he have a good looking” she blushed “Yaa, what are you blushing to? Even he has a good looking but he doesn’t have good manner” I said to her. She laughed at me “Hahaha don’t hate him or he will become your husband”. “Yaa!” I chased her. Suddenly my mom called me, “Hello Omma”. “____-ah where are you? Come home quickly” my mom said. “Omma what happen?” I’m so worried to hear her voice like that it sound like something bad happen. “Come home hurry I will tell you the rest” she said to me and hung up the phone. I was blank, what was that? Then I called over Cho Hee “Yaa... Let’s go home quickly my mom called me just now. I think something is happening at home” she looks at me “Really? Let’s hurry” she starts to run and drag me with her.
I was thinking what happen? “Yaa what happen did your mom sick back?” She asked me. “I don’t know, she just hung up, when I try to call back I can’t reach her” Aish… as soon as I arrived home, I run into my mom room. Cho Hee followed behind me, “Omma?!” I yelled. I opened the door and I saw my mom smiling with a lot of document in front of her. “What is this? What happen?” I ask her. “Come sit, pick one is for your blind date” she said calmly. “What? You ask me home just for this thing? Omma!!” I yelled at my mother, forgive me god for yelled at my mom. I’m so frustrated “I thought something happen to you” aish this old lady. “If I don’t say something like that you won’t come home early” she mumbles. Cho Hee starts laughed out and said “Daebak Ommonie!” and she high five with my mom. I feel so stress “Aish this two person”. “But why so sudden? I’m still young Omma” I said to her. Suddenly she make her sad face, here we go again, “But this old women is getting older, I want to see my grandchildren before I closed my eyes, please just pick one”. What with that face again, she is a good actor. Suddenly Cho Hee said “What young? You are getting older ____-ah. You already 24Th this year” and she giggles. I really want to kick her leg right now “Aha that mean you are no longer young too Cho Hee” I laugh at her.
With her fake gasp “You are right, lol, then I should ask Kyung to married me as soon as possible?” she said. I just giggle. Yeah I forgot she already have a boyfriend, Kyung. I hate blind date, I don’t want to get married. What if the guys left me just like before? To make my mom stop nagging at me I pointed at her one file. “Here this one” I said to my mom. She take the file at look at it, Cho Hee already sit beside my mom but when did her go there? They both look at the picture and suddenly my mom say “Omg you are my daughter!”, Cho Hee also “Daebak! So handsome” she put her thumbs up. “But it look like someone” Cho Hee say. I look at her “What? I don’t want to look at his picture” I said. She smirked “Are you sure chingu ya?” “Yep, let it be surprise” I said to her. My mom called her friend, suddenly she said “Ok this Sunday you are going to meet him, I have set the place”, she keep smiling and even sing a song “My daughter is getting married~”. I feel so annoyed “It just a blind date Omma~” I sing it back. “Whatever~” my mom say and she walked out to the kitchen. She looked so happy.
Cho Hee laughs at me “Yaa you going to have a big surprise this Sunday, believe me” she lift her eyebrow at me. “Hey I have to go, Kyung want to see me, see you soon~” she walked to my door “Yaa eat first before you go, my mom will kill you if you just go like that” I said to her. “Aish I can’t, my Kyung waiting for me. Next time maybe” she pouted. “Ommonie~ I have to go right now, I have something to do” she said to my mom “Meeting Kyung eh? Ok be careful” my mom replied. I just wave at Cho Hee, and then I went inside, “What surprise?” I think by myself.

*Sunday*

I wake up in the morning, “Here we go again, another blind date I have to attend” I mumble, today I’m wearing pastel pink dress with small flower printed. I tied up my hair with a pink ribbon. Wow, I’m so pinked today this is all my mom idea. I have to follow as she said. Cho Hee stand there and look at me, “I almost not recognize you” she laugh at me. “Aish what can I do, I have to make my mom happy” I said to her while wear my sock on. She just smiled “I know ___-ah, good luck with you dates today”. My mom and Cho Hee sent me outside, and then suddenly Cho Hee yelled “Hey remember what I told you? You are going to have a big surprise!” and she laugh again, I feel so annoyed and I just wave her.
Now I’m arrived at the placed that my mom told me. A café beside the park, this place is so nice and beautiful. After I sat on the chair waiter came “Can I have your order miss?” “Hot chocolate please” I said. “Ok miss” he smiled and walked inside. “Where is that guy?” I said to myself, I saw someone two table in front of me. He look like someone, wait that guy! He is the one that talk rude with me at the Morning Calm Park. It’s look like he saw me too. I move to other table, where I could not see him. I was waiting for my “future husband” I guess, it’s been half an hour. “Where is that guy?” I talked to myself. I texted my mom,
“Omma, he didn’t show up, it already half an hour you know"
Then my mom replied. “Really? Here his number why don’t you give him a call? 010xxxxxxx – Mr.Shin”.
Why I have to call him? Aish, fine. I dialed up the number. Ah it’s ringing, but I heard that guy phone also ringing. Just coincidence maybe, and then when the person answers, I could hear that man also talks. I hung up, “This is not real right?” I called it again, and it ringing again. Shit this is not real! Is him??? I hung up my phone and I heard him say “Aish seriously”, and then I just about to get up and run away suddenly he called me back. I want to run away but I didn’t pay my drinks yet, my phone keep ringing, when I’m about to answer it, he came to me. “So it’s you who call me, so you are Miss ____?” he ask me.
I’m just nodded. Suddenly I became speechless, he sit in front of me. So this is the surprise that Cho Hee talked about. Darn I should listen to her. Suddenly he said something “Wait you are the girl before right? The Violet girl” then I answer “What violet girl?”. What he remember me? Seriously?. Then he smirk “My name Shin Soohyun”, “I’m _____, before that I want to tell you, I’m not doing this because I want to, it because my mom said so” I said to him. “Like I want to be here too” he said to me. He look at me “Yeah me too, my mom asked me to come here” he tells me “because she claimed that she already old and before she died, she want to see…” I cut him “her grandchild, right?” he look at me and we laugh “Haha same like my mom” he said.
“Yeah they keep saying like that until we agreed to do this date” I said to him. He just smiled “Same like mine, anyway, I’m so sorry about what happen before”, “Sorry for what?” I just pretend. “That I being rude with you at the garden” he said to me. “Owh that, you are really rude, I really hate you” I said. He looked at me and laughed “You are really weird, every girl that I meet will always talk something nice and keep begging me to be their husband” I looked at him, “Really? Begging you? Are you said that you are so popular or something? Ok Mr. Famous Star”, he looked at me and suddenly keep closer, “What are you doing” I’m blushed and pushed his face. (Well when there are good looking guy in front of you and came close to you of course you were blushing. Right?)
He laughed “Some girl might just kiss me right now”. I make annoyed face, “So you are saying that you are some kind of Casanova right now? Why would I do those stupid things?” I stand up and said “So I think if you have no interest in this blind date thing we should go home, thanks for your time Mr. Casanova”. I put my money on the table, I bow and walked away. I heard someone call my name. I know it’s him but I just ignore him.
He run to me and grab my hand “Hey wait!”, “What?” I said. He handed me my money back and said “I hate when girl have to pay for me”. I just look at him “Ok thanks for the drinks” I said and try to walk again. He stop me and grab my hand “Can you please stop walk away, I want to have this blind date with you” he looked at me. Suddenly he said to me, “Wait here”. About 15 minutes he came back with something behind him. He gave a bunch of white lily to me and said “Can you give me a chance to know you more?”
