The flower that bloomed in my heart

You were nervous, you looked through the cracks, and observed them. “Hey Sehun..” the girl started to talk, “why don’t you ditch that other girl, and start going out with me?” You started to get nervous, wondering what Sehun would say. Sehun opened his mouth and started to speak. His words touched you. He said, “If this is a confession, it won’t work on me. _____ did it way better than you. Even though she’s really stupid, and not bright at times, but, she understands me. She’s my everything. She’s the one who made me smile again. And.. and i want to protect her.” Sehun smiled to the ground, “I really like her, you know?” SLAP. “You idiot! Why the fuck do you even like about that girl?! She’s poor and weird! I even heard her parents died!” “I know they did.” Sehun cut her off, “that’s why I want to protect her, and it feels like… I know what she’s going through.” “How?! Your parents are not dead! You are the complete opposite of her!” The girl started to yell, and she started to cry. “I know how she feels, because.. I been lonely too. But I have friends, but, she doesn’t. I see her alone all the time. It makes me sad, just watching her from the distance, and not be able to do something.” “But..” the door suddenly opened. It was Luhan, “I wondered where you were Sehun.” The girl turned around. “What are you doing here?” Sehun said, “thought you left.” “Well, I heard that you were going to meet with ______, so i wanted to steal her away from you. But after hearing those words, I have to give her to you” You looked at both of them. “You serious?” Sehun said. “Yeah, I think that you need her more than me.” Luhan looked little disappointed, “take care of her for me, will ya?”
When Luhan and the girl leaves the classroom, Sehun is just left alone. You saw him go through his phone, it was like he was texting someone. In moments later, your phone vibrated. You panicked. You quickly tried to put your phone on silent, and put it away. Then, the locker door opened. You and Sehun’s eyes met, there was a moment of silence. “Um…. have you been listening to the.. conversation..?” Sehun was rubbing his neck out of embarrassment. “Yeah, I didn’t mean to. You guys just came in where i was hiding.” “Hiding? From who?” You stared at him wondering how u will reply, then you replied with, “I’m hiding from reality. Reality, just, sucks. You know? You just want to crawl into a hole, and be alone the whole time. Be in your own world, without disturbance…” You looked at blank space, thinking about your own perfect world, where your parents are still alive, and having fun. “What are you thinking of?” Sehun finally asked. “Just.... things...." You smiled to him. Sehun grabbed your hand, and walked you towards the window. "The fireworks are staring, I have something to show you..”
