As I Say

Facades, Bruises, & Concealer

J-Hope had been keeping tabs on the girl, he'd found out from a few sources that she was here on just a passport. She was planning on being here for the full amount she could be, three months without a visa. It was his lucky day then. He had been hoping she'd be here long enough for him to not have to reach into the states for her. He hated dealing with the American government. They were too nosy for his comfort, they'd only cause trouble for the plan he had in mind. With the help of the big boss, the paper work would be filed without any complications, and they'd skip right past the couple interviews and tiring bull shit he never wanted to even have to touch.

He walked out of the bathroom his towel hanging low on his hips as he walked over to his cellphone that had been ringing off the hook since he got into the shower. He put it to his ear after hitting the green button. “Hello?” he said as he sighed a little. His black hair was slicked back, and water was still soaking his body.

“The paper work is in, and you can come collect her today – she'll behave, you have my word,” he told him, then the line went dead. He set the phone down then went to his room to get dressed. He dried his hair with the towel then used some hair gel to get it to stick the way he wanted it to. He had such a hard time fixing his hair that his just ruffled it these days. He grabbed a bandana then tied it around his neck like he usually did then sprayed some cologne in the air before standing in it. Just because he didn't have the most ethical of work, didn't mean he didn't want to smell nice for her.

J-Hope knew she was probably terrified, the trip that was supposed to be her finding herself – had her finding herself in a very unexpected situation. He knew the big boss had probably used some sort of blackmail against her to make her see things their way. Of course he wouldn't hurt her, that was never part of his plan. Though he'd never tell anyone else that, they probably assumed he'd rape her or beat her for the fuck of it. Like he was some kind of sadist, which he wasn't. Of course he did plan on making her his, but he wouldn't force himself on her – like some kind of animal. He'd kill a man before he ever laid a hand on a woman that way. It was despicable crime if he'd ever heard of one.

He slide his sneakers on and tied the laces tight so they wouldn't come off if he had to make a run for it or something. He slid his gun in his waist band, and his pocket knife in his pocket, he had his wallet connected to his pants so no one could steal it from him. He grabbed his keys then walked out of the apartment, heading towards the club where he assumed he'd be picking up his woman, soon to be wife. He'd locked the door behind him, then headed towards the bus stop. Transit in Seoul was pretty average, it was easier than driving and quicker than walking to most places. Especially since the place he was going to was clear across town, walking there would take a hour or two which he wasn't exactly planning on.

He was used to people staring at him on the buses so it wasn't something new to him, but today he was especially jittery so he sent glares at anyone who dared to stare at him too long. When the bus stopped he climbed off at his stop, then began the short walk to the small club. In the back he could see her sitting on the small sofa, looking at her hands. Her cheeks were a bit red and puffy, she'd been crying. For some reason that tugged at his heart a little, but not enough for him to truly care. He was let into the area, and he looked her over for bruises. Just as J-Hope had expected, she did shy away from his touch when he lifted her chin to look at her face.

“Whats with the bruise?” he asked looking at her face, he raised an eyebrow licking his lips.

“She got a little feisty, and one of my men felt the need to put her in her place. I've dealt with him already, I assure you she was harmed no further,” he said to him. The bruise on her cheek wasn't too dark but he knew it was there just by how the light shined on her skin. The girls name was Jaclyn Moore, she was eighteen and had been traveling abroad to find herself. He'd learned that her parents had paid for her entire trip, and funded every endeavor she ever wanted to do.

J-Hope looked over again, “Stand up,” he said to her, she did as she was told her eyes were still cast down at her feet. It bothered him slightly, that she was so scared, he'd make her more comfortable when he got her home. He pulled the rings out of his pockets the slid one on her finger then one on his own. The ring he'd picked out for her was one many girls would die for. It was white gold with diamonds nestled safely within the band of the ring.

“When will the paper work be final?” he asked the older male.

“By Friday, as of right now she is still here on a passport,” he told him, “She still has about two months left on her stay so you're safe,”

He nodded,”Your debt is paid,” he told him then grabbed her hand in his, “Where are her things?”

“They are there, she doesn't have a whole lot, smart touristing and all,” the big boss chuckled as he licked over his lips. True, she was tiny enough to fit into the petite sized clothing there in South Korea. So she probably assumed she'd do a bit of shopping while she was there, packing lightly was probably the way to go when in terms of travel. He'd make sure she had everything she wanted, and more. Of course he was going to support her in every way... and eventually she'd love him. Over time he'd make her see he wasn't such a bad guy, but this was the only way he could make her his without too much trouble.

He grabbed the bag, then looked at her face,”You have something to cover that with?” he asked her curiously.

“Yes,” she said softly, her voice was shaking but he could tell he would love the sound of it soon enough. It already made his heart flutter uncontrollably. He handed her the bag, she held onto it looking at him. It was hard for J-Hope to have any kind of remorse for what he was doing, he wanted her – so she was his now. There wasn't much of a argument to that. He got what he wanted, and that was the end of that.

“Well cover up the bruise, and at least pretend to be happy,” he told her firmly as he looked at her. She walked over to a table then began to dig in her bag. He watched her as she applied her make up, he wasn't sure what was what but he could tell an immense difference when she started to pack everything away. He began to wonder if they'd taken her in the dead of night when she'd least expect it. That seemed like the most logical of answers, she was dressed though – so he wasn't too sure.

“Lets go home,” he told her as he took her bag that she'd closed up, and held his hand out of hers. “Then you can take a shower and cook,” he said lightly. He was trying to keep his bad guy facade on, but he wanted to do nothing but comfort her. He hated seeing the look of terror on her face, it made him sick. The thought that someone had laid a hand on her pissed him off more then anything else ever had. J-Hope had never expected to see someone so beautiful in his entire life. He'd spoil her with lavish gifts, and she'd spoil him with her affections and later on in life – children.
